–Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 12:44 a.m. Saturday to stand by while the fire department and EMT treated a patient.
–Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 12:38 a.m. Saturday for a reported suspicious person bothering customers while in the drive-thru. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate them and the caller was advised to call again if they returned.
–Officers on patrol observed a vehicle with a fictitious registration and a wanted person in the area of East State Street and Penn Avenue at 9:34 p.m. Friday and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop K-9 Chaz was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotic odor coming from the vehicle and a search of the vehicle recovered contraband. Both occupants, Ashley Rhodes, 28, Leetonia, and Matthew Bays, 28, Leetonia had active secret indictments which were confirmed and they were transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
–Officers responded to the 900 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 7:06 p.m. Friday for a wellness check. Officers spoke with the person in question who was later transported to the hospital by first responders for further medical attention.
–Officers responded to the 600 block of East Seventh Street at 5:47 p.m. Friday for a wellness check. No answer was received at the residence but officers were able to contact a relative of the resident who was currently in the hospital.
–Officers responded to the 300 block of East Second Street at 4:33 p.m. Friday for a report of possible harassment. The caller advised someone had been placing sticky notes on his vehicle and he needed a report in case things escalated. He also advised he would be setting up cameras and would notify police if he saw anything on them.
