— Officers responded to the 900 block of Liberty Street at 9:01 p.m. Friday for a reported suspicious person. The person was last seen an hour before the call, and officers advised them to contact them if the person was seen again.
— Officers responded to a business in the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 8:19 p.m. Friday for a report of multiple vehicles parked in their lot despite having no parking signs posted. Officers spoke with several people and advised them to move their vehicles at the businesses’ request.
— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 7:33 p.m. Friday for a reported hit and skip. The caller advised that his vehicle had been hit at Fresh Mark, and he hadn’t noticed until he got home. Officers took photos of the damage and gathered information.
— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 5:54 p.m. Friday for a reported scam call. They were advised not to give out any information and to call if they received any more suspicious calls.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of East Fifth Street at 5:32 p.m. Friday for a reported domestic dispute. Officers spoke with both parties who advised that the argument was verbal only. Officers advised both parties to stay away from each other for the rest of the night.
— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 5:09 p.m. Friday regarding a hit and skip. The person advised that they had stopped for a red light when a red truck pulling a trailer went left of center and passed them, damaging the left side of the vehicle before proceeding westbound from the scene of the accident. Photographs were taken, and officers advised that they would attempt to get video footage from that intersection.
— Officers on patrol in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 3:40 p.m. Friday observed numerous instances of graffiti beneath Cranmer Bridge. The damage was photographed, and the safety department will be notified for future removal.
— Kimberly Papadeonise, 59, Salem was cited for OVI, and failure to control after their vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Danielle Sluss, 34, Salem, in a drive-thru before crashing into a building in the 600 block of East Pershing Street at 1:20 p.m. Friday. No injuries were reported.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of Walnut Street at 12:52 p.m. Friday for a report of a disorderly woman. Officers discovered the woman had been arguing with a man known to her and advised her to move along.
— Officers responded to the 1900 block of Maple Street at 10:12 a.m. Friday for a reported dog at large. Officers spoke with the owner of the dogs who advised they were briefly in the front yard on his property, but he had put both dogs in the fenced in yard.
— Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 9:55 a.m. Friday regarding a concern involving her juvenile son. Information was gathered for a report with nothing criminal at that time.
— Officers observed a woman on a bicycle who appeared to be yelling at passing vehicles and shouting offensive language in the area of Washington Avenue and East State Street at 9:28 a.m. Friday. When officers spoke with the woman, they continued the disorderly behavior with the officer and were given a warning for disorderly conduct. The woman was advised to cease the yelling and offensive language and sent her on her way.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of West Wilson Street at 9:01 a.m. Friday for a report of weather damage. Officers were advised that a large tree limb had fallen onto the caller’s vehicle causing damage to the windshield, hood and roof. Photographs of the damage were taken, and a report was made.
East Liverpool
— Theres Hamilton, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for a stop sign violation following a May 27 traffic stop on Jackson Street.
— A driver was issued a warning for a stop sign violation following a traffic stop on Broadway Street on May 27.
— Officers arrived at a Woodbine Street residence on May 27 for a request to remove someone from property but found the person had already left before they got there.
— Justin Schneider, 34, address not provided, was stopped for questioning on May 27 after an officer observed him exiting a vehicle reported stolen from Harrison County. Schnieder, who had an outstanding warrant in Columbiana County, was found to have a used syringe with blood inside and suspected methamphetamine in his front pocket. He was transported to the police department and charged with possessing drug abuse instruments and then transported to Columbiana County Jail.
— A driver was given a verbal warning for failing to use a turn signal following a May 27 traffic stop on East Third Street.
— A female was advised not to return to a Palissey Street residence for the remainder of the evening on May 27, after officers responded to a complaint of an argument between her and boyfriend and allegedly threw a baseball bat breaking his truck window. The female and her children were at a neighbor’s house when police spoke with her. She was advised to call officers for an escort before returning to the residence in the morning to get the children clothes for school.
— Officers found a juvenile to be in good health after responding to Spring Grove Avenue residence for a welfare check on May 27.
— Officers assisted the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office with a warrant at a Maplewood Avenue residence on May 27.
— Officers searched the area of West 7th Street for a male in a gray hoodie who was alleged to have stolen items from the Dresden Avenue Dollar General on May 27.
— Officers found a child to be safe following a welfare check at a Jennings Avenue residence on May 28.
— A female at the Wilbert Avenue residence where officers responded to a possible domestic situation on May 28 told officers everything was fine, and she was just on the phone arguing with her sister.
— A mother spoke with an officer at the station on May 28 to report her juvenile daughter had caused injuries to her 9-year-old brother the night before. A report was taken and sent to juvenile court for possible criminal charges.
— Officers were sent to state Route 11 north on May 28 for a reckless driver, but by the time the officers arrived the vehicle was out of their jurisdiction.

— Officers conducted a welfare check on a male at a Railroad Street residence who said he was fine and had no thoughts of self-harm. The male went to stay with his fiancee.

— Officers advised a Bradshaw Street resident that no one has a parking spot on a public street after responding to a parking dispute on May 28.
— After responding to a call on May 28 at Riverview Cemetery for a report of a male stealing flowers from graves, police were able to locate the male and confirm the flowers he took were ones he placed on family members’ graves and removed for fear of the cemetery taking them off after a certain date.
— Officers transported a male home from East Liverpool City Emergency Room parking lot after the hospital called on May 28 to request his removal due to being intoxicated.
— Officers advised the female who requested a welfare check on a female she had concerns about. Officers went to the last known address for the female and were told she hadn’t been seen. They then advised the person requesting the welfare check to file a missing person report.
— After police responded to East Liverpool City Hospital on May 28 for a report of a juvenile that was physically assaulted by his father, officers talked to both parents and the juvenile and filed a report that was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review and pending charges and also to Children Protective Services.

— Officers discovered the cleaning crew had not been able to shut off an alarm time in when responding to an alarm call on May 27 at a St. Clair Avenue business.
— Officer’s spoke with a male at a Cornell Street resident when the female there said she wanted him to leave on May 27. The male left to stay at his mother’s house for the night.
— An officer stopped on state Route 11 on May 27 to check on a disabled vehicle sitting on the side of the road. There was no one with the vehicle, but the officer found a note saying it was broken down and would be towed in the morning.
— Officers who responded on May 27 to a Samuel Street resident for a possible domestic situation found there was no domestic dispute; a couple were just arguing about trash.
— An unnamed driver was cited for speed following a May 27 traffic stop on state Route 170.
— Heather Bywaters, 44, addressed not provided, was arrested after a Walmart loss prevention officer called police for shoplifting. Bywaters was arrested for petty theft after she failed to scan 12 items totaling $57.34. She was released with a court summons.

— Tara Woods, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for speed following a June 4 traffic stop on state Route 7.
— An unnamed driver was issued citations for driving under suspension and no headlights after dark following a June 4 traffic stop on state Route 7. The registered owner of the vehicle was allowed to pick it up.
— An unnamed male was issued a citation for expired plates following a June 5 traffic stop on state Route 7.
Liverpool Township

— Officers were not able to make contact with residents in a Shadylane Drive apartment that was reported to have a domestic situation occurring by a downstairs neighbor on May 29. The neighbor reported that the people in the upstairs apartment were screaming.
— Officers conducted a welfare check at Morton Street residence on May 29 and spoke to the residents who said they were fine.
— Josh Ingram, 34, was issued a parking ticket for being parked against the flow of traffic on May 29 after officers responded to complaints about a speeding vehicle on Avondale Street.
— Officers checked an abandoned residence on Lincoln Avenue on May 29 after receiving reports of possible trespassers. Officers found the residence to be boarded up.
— An officer who observed a semi-truck with hazard lights flashing on Broadway Street stopped to talk to the driver who said he was lost and needed to get to West Virginia. The office guided the driver to West Virginia.
Sheriff Reports
— Deputies responded to an address on state Route 45, Madison Township for a domestic dispute reported at 11:44 p.m. Monday, spoke with the parties involved and found there had not been any physical violence or threats. The man was intoxicated and the woman did not want him at the house due to his intoxication. He was transported to his camper at a nearby campground as a courtesy and to prevent him from driving.
— A woman in Yellow Creek Township reported a disturbance at 8:26 p.m. Saturday of 20 to 25 people possibly fighting now leaving in their vehicles at a residence on Mick Road, Yellow Creek Township. Upon arrival, deputies found no disturbance of people fighting.
— An East Liverpool man at 6:48 p.m. Saturday reported he and his wife were camping at Clewell Campground, Clewell Drive, Hanover Township, and his wife was missing. Upon deputies arriving at 6:59 p.m. Saturday, she was located in the campground and was fine.
— A man on Bell Road, Elkrun Township, reported at 10:14 p.m. Thursday that another man’s cow was loose and on his property. A deputy spoke with the other man and advised him he needs to keep his animals on his property.
— A deputy at 3:09 a.m. June 4 responded to a noise complaint in the area of Church Hill Road, Elkrun Township. A vehicle was located in the driveway occupied by two intoxicated men, but the vehicle was disabled and unable to be moved. The man said they were on their property and were 4-wheeling until they ran out of gas. They were told they needed to walk back to the house and remove the vehicle in the morning when they were sober. They agreed and walked back to the house.
— Deputies completed a welfare check at 1:25 a.m. June 4 on a person at an address on Hillcrest Road, Yellow Creek Township, who reportedly made comments of harming themselves. The person appeared in good health and was not wanting to harm themselves.
— Deputies were dispatched at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday to state Route 45, Madison Township, for a domestic violence report. All parties involved separated and left the residence, with no violence or threats occurring.
— Personnel from Duke & Duchess, U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, reported at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday that a counterfeit $10 bill was in their money count. A deputy confiscated the counterfeit $10 bill and it was put into the evidence room at the sheriff’s office.
— A couple on state Route 172, West Township, reported at 10:44 a.m. Monday that someone was trying to open bank accounts in their names.
Liverpool Township
— An unnamed male was issued a citation for driving alone on a driver’s permit following a May 29 traffic stop on state Route 7. The officer told the male to call for a ride home because he could not let him drive him drive alone. The male’s son picked him up.
— An unnamed female was issued a citation and court date for driving with expired plates following a May 30 traffic stop on Curry Street.
— An unnamed juvenile, 17, was issued a citation and court date to appear in juvenile court for speeding and being a juvenile traffic offender following a May 31 traffic stop on state Route 7. The juvenile was clocked by the officer doing 73 in a 55 mph-zone.
— An unnamed driver was issued a citation and court date for speed following a June 1 traffic stop on state Route 7.
— An unnamed driver was issued citations for driving under suspension and expired plates following a June 2 traffic stop on Dewey Avenue. The vehicle was towed.
— Darian Bradely, age and address not provided, was issued citations and a court date for speed and an expired license following a June 4 traffic stop on state Route 7. The officer noted that Bradely has already had three verbal warnings for speed and a citation for speed and reckless operation since August 2023.
— Richard Haught, age and address not provided, was issued a citation which he refused to sign and a court date for speed following a June 4 traffic stop on state Route 7.
