St. Clair Township
— Officers on patrol observed a male pushing a TJ Maxx shopping car on Dresden Avenue on June 9 and questioned the male who said he was digging through dumpsters and had food he was taking home. The officers told him it was theft to take a shopping cart. They returned the cart to the store and gave the male and a female with him a courtesy ride home.
— A driver was given a verbal warning for failure to stop and yield on state Route 170 following a June 9 traffic stop.
— A male and a female causing a disturbance in the parking lot of River Valley Physicians on June 9 agreed to be civil with each other after officers spoke with them.
— A witness told officers called to Walmart for a female hit by a car on June 9 that the female threw herself into the car as it was backing out of a parking spot. The driver of the care requested a report be filed in the case the female came forward.
— A father spoke to police at a Bell School Road residence on June 9 telling them he is the custodial parent of his children and wants a report on file of threats by the children’s mother and grandmother.
— Officers were called to Sheetz for the removal of juveniles who were allegedly stealing slushies and playing football in the parking lot to be removed on June 9. The juveniles were gone when officers arrived, and no one got their license plates or could identify them. The officers advised the manager to have the higher ups return the no loitering signs.
— An officer responded to a downed tree on Annesley Road on June 9.
— An officer spoke with a male who reported to be messing around trailers on Duke Road on June 9. The male said he was with a female and was walking to his sister’s house in Glenmoor. The office waited for him to leave Duke Road before leaving.
— A driver was issued a verbal warning for marked lanes on state Route 170 following a June 9 traffic stop.
— An officer met a Hancock County deputy at a Gipner Avenue residence on June 9 to retrieve a rifle used in a shooting that occurred in Hancock County.
— An officer responded to a disabled vehicle in the roadway on state Route 170 on June 9 and waited for Calcutta Towing to remove the vehicle.
— An officer who was sent to Old Fredericktown Road on June 9 for a two vehicle versus deer accident near the bridge searched multiple places without finding the vehicles or a deer. The officer was then informed that dispatch spoke with one of the drivers involved and was told it was located in Pennsylvania.
— Officers provided assistance to NorthStar EMS on Parkway Avenue on June 9.
Salem
— Officers responded to the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue at 12:07 p.m. Thursday for a reported domestic in progress. Officers spoke with both parties who advised that it was verbal only. Both left the residence in separate directions.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Fourth Street at 8:52 a.m. Thursday to speak with the residents for an investigation. Nobody was located at the residence.
— Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Third Street at 8:43 a.m. Thursday to speak with the residents for an investigation. Nobody was located at the residence.
— Officers on patrol in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 8:27 a.m. Thursday observed what appeared to be fresh graffiti on the overpass.
