-- A deputy and a Lisbon police officer responded at 12:52 a.m. Tuesday to Grant Street in Center Township for a woman in mental distress. The female had reportedly stopped taking her medication and was self-medicating with alcohol. She was eventually transported to a hospital by EMS services.
-- Deputies at 11:53 p.m. Monday conducted a warrant attempt in Wellsville, taking the person they were searching for into custody. The person was taken to the Columbiana County Jail on an in-house warrant. The report did not list the person's name or any other information.
-- A runaway juvenile report was taken at 7:27 a.m. Monday, with a deputy speaking with the juvenile's parents on West Main Street, Salineville.
-- Deputies at 3:07 a.m. Monday conducted a welfare check in the area of Bell Road, but were unsuccessful in making contact with the person after numerous attempts to get in touch.
-- A domestic violence incident was reported at 12:37 a.m. Monday on U.S. Route 62, Butler Township. When deputies arrived, both parties were separated and deputies spoke to them. The male victim refused to file criminal charges. The alleged female offender was picked up by a friend and left.
-- At 1:46 a.m. Sunday, deputies were dispatched to 16 School Road, Yellow Creek Township, in reference to an underage party. Upon arrival, the party was located, but no one remained. A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the scene, but the driver was cleared with a verbal warning for expired registration. A deputy remained at the scene for the fire department to respond to put out the bonfire.
East Palestine
-- Officers discovered a door open on a business on Kemple Road at 12:29 a.m. on Wednesday. It was determined the door was left open accidentally and was secured.
-- Officers responded at 6:53 p.m. on Tuesday to the city park to a report of juveniles throwing rocks in the park.
-- Officers responded at 5:28 p.m. to state Route 170 regarding a man reportedly riding his bike into oncoming traffic. Officers checked the area but did not locate the man.
-- Officers respond to Gorby's on North Market Street to a report of a theft incident at 2:58 p.m. on Tuesday. Springfield Township Police Department also assisted in identifying the individual involved.
-- Officers located a dog at 1:02 a.m. on Tuesday on North Market Street. The dog was reunited with its owner.
-- Officers responded at 11:36 p.m. on Sunday to the city park to a report of a suspicious vehicle.
-- Officers responded at 4:43 a.m. to Washington Street on Sunday for a domestic dispute.
-- Officers responded to the Moose Lodge on Rebecca Street at 10:05 p.m to a report of a fight on Saturday.
-- Officers took a report of an assault at 7:32 p.m. on Saturday regarding a fight between two juveniles at the street fair.
-- Officers took a report from a woman regarding a stolen game system on Alice Street at 2:36 p.m. on Saturday.
-- Officers took a report at the station regarding a civil matter at 11:57 a.m. on Saturday.
-- Officers responded to the far city limits on North Market Street at 11:41 p.m. on Saturday to reports of gunshots approximately five minutes apart. Officers checked the area in car and on food but were unable to make contact with any subject.
-- Officers arrested Anthony Steele, no age or address provided, and charged him with OVI , following a traffic stop on East Clark Street at 9:43 p.m. on Friday. Steele was also charged with driving under suspension, turn signal and left of center.
-- Officers responded at 8:47 p.m. to East Clark Street on Friday for a possible domestic in progress. At the scene, it was determined there was no physical altercation and the parties separated for the night.
-- Officers responded at 7:49 p.m. on Friday to North Market Street to a report of a man urinating on a vehicle. Officers could not locate the subject.
Salem
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue at 1:06 a.m. Monday for a wellness check. Contact was made with the juvenile and his mother, who both advised and showed that the juvenile had no self-inflicted injuries to their arms despite accusations from the father and the juvenile advised that he does not want to harm himself or others.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 10:31 p.m. Monday for a report of a group of juveniles being removed from the parking lot for loitering. Officers advised them to move along, and they did so.
-- Officers responded to the 900 block of Jefferson Avenue at 9:02 p.m. Sunday for a reported neighbor dispute. The caller advised that a basketball rolls into his yard while the children next door play in their driveway and officers advised that the children coming into the yard to get the ball and then leaving is not criminal. He was given options on how to get his property line surveyed.
-- Officers responded to the first block of Court Drive at 7:19 p.m. Sunday for a loud music complaint. While in the area, no music could be heard from the area.
