-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Harding Avenue at 8:47 p.m. Tuesday for a reported animal complaint. The caller advised their neighbor's dog was circling their vehicle and their wife was unable to exit the vehicle due to medical issues. The caller provided video footage of the incident and the dog's owner Kacey Rohaley, who has previously been warned to keep the dog on their own property or on a leash was issued a citation for dog at large.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of West State Street at 7:57 p.m. Tuesday for a report of stolen property. The caller advised he put his phone on the steps of his camper, and it was now missing. Officers assisted in searching the area but were unable to locate the phone.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday for a reported reckless operator. Officers located the vehicle and observed no signs of impairment from the driver who advised that she was tired and just needed a nap.
-- Officers responded to the intersection of Stewart Road and Depot Road at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday for a report of two people arguing on the side of the roadway. Officers spoke with the individuals who both advised they did not need anything.
-- Officers responded to the area of Prospect Street and Georgetown Road at 8:02 p.m. Monday for a reported stop sign down. Officers observed the sign and advised dispatch to contact the road department.
-- Officers responded to the 900 block of Newgarden Avenue at 6:43 p.m. Sunday to assist Salem officers with a male juvenile who had fled from officers with a knife. Officers located the juvenile who then harmed himself, officers stood by until the juvenile was transferred.
-- Officers responded to the 34000 block of Salem Grange Road at 1:44 p.m. Sunday to assist the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office with serving a warrant. Officers stood by while they attempted to serve the warrant, but no contact was made.
-- Officers responded to the 1600 block of Goshen Road at 2:47 p.m. Sunday for a reported runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located near a neighbor's property without injuries. The juvenile advised that they had gone to a friend's house who rode the bus with her. Officers spoke with the neighbor regarding the issue.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of Prospect Street at 10:01 a.m. Sunday for a reported domestic dispute. Officers spoke with the party involved and were advised that no verbal incident took place.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of Liberty Street at 8:35 p.m. Friday for a reported civil dispute. The caller advised that his girlfriend had been served an eviction notice which was found to be a note from an attorney not an actual eviction notice. Both parties were informed that the issue was civil and that eviction notices must be processed through the court.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue at 4:30 p.m. May 8 for a reported vehicle in a yard. Officers spoke with the person in question who advised that he'd gotten stuck trying to turn around at the end of the road and was getting assistance removing the vehicle. He was advised to clean up the area before leaving.
-- Officers responded to a business in the 1800 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 1:43 p.m. May 8 for a wellness check. The caller advised they were concerned for a woman in the parking lot that appeared to be slumped over in their vehicle asleep and potentially under the influence and had their child with them. Officers spoke with the woman, observing no signs of impairment, and waited for them to leave the business, following their vehicle and observing no moving violations.

-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 11:44 a.m. Tuesday for a report of telephone harassment. Officers spoke with the caller who advised that he has been receiving unwanted calls and messages from a person unknown to them. Officers advised the caller of the options for dealing with the situation.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of West Wilson Street at 5:27 a.m. Thursday for a possible domestic dispute. Officers spoke with a woman who advised that she was okay and did not wish to cooperate.
-- Officers responded to the 900 block of East Fifth Street at 12:06 a.m. Thursday for a reported stolen vehicle. The caller advised that his wife took his vehicle and left the city. Officers advised that the vehicle was not stolen due to his wife having it and the couple being legally married.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 6:10 p.m. Thursday to assist the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force with taking a man into custody for engaging in prostitution. As officers arrived the man, whose name was not listed, fled the area on foot but was caught in the 200 block of West Pershing Street and placed into custody. While searching him officers found a white powder substance in his pants pocket which he advised was cocaine. He was transported to the police department and charged by the task force, and he was later transported to the Columbiana County Jail with additional charges pending lab results.
-- Officers responded to the area of Southeast Boulevard and Park Avenue at 4:38 p.m. Thursday for a report of a vehicle parked too close to a stop sign. Officers spoke with the driver and the vehicle was moved.
-- Officers on patrol in the 200 block of Woodland Avenue at 4:18 p.m. Thursday observed a juvenile riding an electrical scooter that pulled out into traffic causing a vehicle to make a sudden stop. Officers spoke with the juvenile and advised the juvenile to be more careful near the roadway and the danger of not paying attention.
