Highway Patrol
— Possible charges are stemming in regards to a Madison Township crash on April 21. According to the report, Henry Mack, of Canton, was southbound on Y&O Road when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a stop sign. The report has not been completed as yet.
— Thomas Bucco, of Macedonia, was cited at 5:39 p.m. April 20 in Salem Township for failure to control, after his eastbound vehicle traveled off state Route 14 and struck a guardrail before crossing a private drive and hitting a retaining wall.
— Cora Taylor, of Canton, was cited at 2:13 p.m. April 28 for a right-of-way violation in Knox Township after she struck a vehicle driven by Kyle Leftridge, of Alliance, near the Homeworth Road and Route 62 intersection.
— Tyler Cox, of Charlton Road in Lisbon, was cited at 10:02 a.m. April 29 in Salem Township for failure to maintain an assured clear distance, after his vehicle rearended one driven by Lisa Reda, of Youngstown, on state Route 45.
Liverpool Township
— Rebecca Show, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for speed following an April 18 traffic stop on Boring Lane.
— Rebecca Cunningham, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and mandatory court date following an April 18 traffic stop on state Route 7. Cody McDole, age and address not provided, the passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an outstanding warrant and taken into custody by a deputy from the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle was towed by First Class Towing.
— Katrina George, age and address not provided, was issued multiple citations for no plate light, no operator’s license and expired plates and advised of her court date following an April 19 traffic stop on Rubicon Street. George was allowed to drive the vehicle home since she was stopped a couple hundred feet from her residence and she was advised to get the plate up to date or next time the vehicle would be towed.
— Jason Holloway, 44, address not provided, was arrested on outstanding warrants following an April 19 traffic stop on state Route 7 in which he was the passenger in a vehicle. The driver, Nicole Carr, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for driving under suspension.
— Jeremy Owens, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for a red light violation in a school zone during school hours following an April 22 traffic stop on Lisbon Street.
— An unnamed driver was issued a citation and court date for speed following an April 23 traffic stop on state Route 7.
— A juvenile driver was issued a citation for expired tags following an April 23 traffic stop on Parkway Avenue.

Salem
— Officers responded to a business in the 100 block of Benton Road at 1:31 p.m. Friday for a wellness check. The caller advised that she had not spoken with her mother in several days and that she works at the business. Officers spoke with the owner who advised that the person in question does work there but was at the bank. The owner also advised that there are family issues going on and that’s why they are not returning the caller’s calls.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Fourth Street at 2:01 p.m. Friday for a wellness check. The caller advised that he had been told that his girlfriend’s daughter was dropped off at a neighbor’s house due to the dad being called into work. When officers arrived, the juvenile was with the father not the neighbor.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of Franklin Avenue at 5:38 a.m. Tuesday for a wellness check. The caller advised that he believed nobody was at the residence watching his 8-year-old niece. Officers were unable to make contact, but the property owner’s vehicle was there.
— Officers responded to the 2100 block of Southeast Boulevard at 5:22 a.m. Tuesday for a reported waterline break. A waterline break was located and the water department was notified.
— Officers responded to the area of South Lundy Avenue and Columbiana Street at 5:04 a.m. Tuesday for a report of multiple 911 hang-up call pinging from different locations. Officers located the person in the area of West State Street and South Ellsworth Avenue, and he advised that he didn’t need anything but kept stating that God was using his phone to call 911 for him. He was advised to cease calling 911 unless he needed emergency services.
— Officers responded to the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 4:20 a.m. Tuesday for a reported 911 hang-up call. Officers spoke with the person, who advised that they were okay and did not need any assistance.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Third Street at 2:26 a.m. Tuesday for a report of smoke inside the apartment building. A faulty bathroom vent fan was located and removed.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of Rose Avenue at 11:36 p.m. Monday for a reported theft. The caller advised that a person had left her house with her Air Pods, and that she was able to track them to see where they had gone. Officers attempted contact at the residence they were pinging from but were unable to speak with anyone. Officers gathered information and it will be sent to the Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of West Sixteenth Street at 9:59 p.m. Monday for a reported 911 hang-up call. The caller advised that it was accidental.
— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Buckeye Avenue at 8:42 p.m. Monday for a reported dispute. The caller advised that a person began yelling at her. Officers spoke with both parties, and the person was seen to be very loud but nothing physical occurred and advised that they just wanted the caller out of her house. The caller complied and packed her things and left.
