Sheriff’s Office

— Deputies arrested James Davisson, Salienville, at 2:51 p.m. on Sunday, charging him with disorderly conduct, felony-five obstructing justice and felony-four resisting arrest in Salineville. Davisson allegedly was threatening people in the parking lot of an apartment complex and when approached by officers, Davisson refused an order to drop a knife he was holding. Eventually, Davisson tossed the knife but resisted being handcuffed and was taken to the ground.

— Deputies conducted a welfare check at 2:51 a.m. on Lowmiller Road in West Township on Sunday.

— Deputies took a report at 6:57 a.m. about trespassing on Y&O Road in Madison Township on Sunday.

— Deputies responded at 7:47 a.m. on Saturday to a report of a young juvenile walking by himself on Adams Road in Unity Township.

— Deputies responded at 11:56 p.m. to an elderly person who advised they were lost at the Food and Fuel Stop in Rogers on Saturday. Deputies gave the subject a courtesy ride to the sheriff office where he was picked up by his son.

— Deputies took a report of a theft of key fob at 9:31 p.m. on Friday by resident on Lisbon Road in Salem Township.

— Deputies responded at 3:18 p.m. on Friday to Sandy Creek Road in West Township to an open 911 call.

East Palestine

— Officers provided mutual aid on a domestic disturbance at 12:11 a.m. on Friday on Hadley Road in Unity Township.

— Officers conducted a death investigation at 5:20 a.m. on Friday on East Main Street.

— Officers responded to a report of two suspicious people on East Rebecca Street at 10:36 p.m. on Thursday.

— Officers responded to a loud noise complaint at 10:10 p.m. on East Martin Street on Thursday. Officers spoke to all parties involved and advised to keep the noise down.

— Officers responded to the East Palestine City Park to a report of a suspicious person at 7:58 p.m. on Thursday. Officers made contact with the subject and determined nothing was amiss.

— Officers responded at 5 p.m. to West Main Street to a report of a possible breaking and entry. Officers checked the area and all appeared secure.

— Officers responded at 2:59 p.m. on Thursday to Brookdale to a report that grass from a mower struck a passing vehicle.

— Officers conducted a welfare check at 2:48 p.m. on Thursday on North Market Street and made contact with the subject.

— Officers conducted a welfare check at 10:24 a.m. on Thursday on Alice Street.
