Sheriff’s Office

— A deputy was dispatched at 11:57 p.m. Saturday to Jimtown Road, Unity Township, for an open 911 line. The resident at the property said everything was okay.

— At 12:20 a.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to the area of state Route 39, west of the Southern Local bus garage, for suspicious activity of a vehicle pacing a man walking on the side of the road. Deputies checked the area, but didn’t find the vehicle or man.

— An investigation involving a juvenile student at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center was conducted and a report taken at 8:11 p.m. Friday. The call type was listed as threats or harassment.

— An extra watch was requested at 9:03 p.m. Friday in the area of state Route 14, Unity Township. A deputy checked the immediate and surrounding areas and found everything in good order.

— Neighbor trouble was reported at 8:34 p.m. Friday in the area of state Route 45 in Madison Township. A deputy spoke with the callers and told them how to proceed. The deputy also made contact with the person in question and gave them a warning.

— A suspicious vehicle with its hazard lights flashing was reported on state Route 164 in Washington Township at 4:39 a.m. Friday. Upon arrival, the responding deputy learned the Ohio State Highway Patrol had handled a car vs. deer crash at that location and had just left.

— A telecommunications harassment report was taken on U.S. Route 30, Hanover Township, at 9:25 p.m. Thursday, with a warrant issued for a Hanover Township woman for telecommunications harassment.

— Deputies were dispatched at 3:50 a.m. Thursday to State Line Road, Negley, for a person to be removed, learning the person was involved in the assault of another female. The person was given a ride to the residence where she resides with the victim and spoke to the victim, who advised she was assaulted. Karlie Arnold, 18, Foraker Street, Rogers, was charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest and was recently arraigned on the charges in Columbiana County Municipal Court, with the case still pending.

Lisbon

— Officers responded at 8:10 p.m. on Sunday to North Jefferson Street for a domestic complaint. It was found to be verbal and both parties were advised to separate.

— Officers responded at 4:08 a.m. on Sunday to East Chestnut Street for a couple that had put handcuffs on each other while at a party and were now unable to get out of them. Officers observed two people stuck in fuzzy purple handcuffs. Officers were able to remove handcuffs with a key.

— Officers responded at 4:19 p.m. on Saturday to West Washington Street for juveniles on a mini bike. Officers spoke juveniles and advised them that they could not ride the bike in town.

— Officers arrested Timothy L. Kuttler, 38, Lisbon and charged him for persisting in disorderly conduct after officers allegedly responded to several calls regarding a neighbor dispute at 7:21 p.m. on Saturday.

— Officers responded at 2:22 p.m. on Saturday to Garfield Street for a call of threats. The two parties agreed to separate.

— Officers responded to North Market Street at 12:43 p.m. on Friday for a welfare check.

— Officers at 2:48 a.m. on Friday were contacted by a man about an altercation between him and another individual causing him to have a black eye and bruising to his face. Officers spoke with both parties involved and it was decided that they would not pursue charges against each other.

— Officers responded at 6:11 p.m. on Thursday to the Lisbon Fire Department for a reported medical. Upon arrival, police found that the fire chief was assisting a female who was having a medical episode. EMS was contacted and transported the female to the hospital to be evaluated.

— Officers responded at 6:36 a.m. on Thursday to Job and Family Services for an alarm drop. The alarm company called the police department and canceled before officers arrived.

— Officers responded Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. to the parking lot of the Day’s Inn for a report of two suspicious people walking around the parking lot looking into cars. Officers arrived and were unable to make contact.

— Officers responded at 856 p.m. on Tuesday to Smith Oil for a motor vehicle lockout. Entry was gained.

— Officers spoke with a female at 5:36 p.m. on Tuesday on East Pine Street regarding a trash complaint. The trash was cleaned up the following day.

— Officers responded at 11:34 p.m. on Tuesday to Circle K for a report of a dog owner letting their pitbull off leash inside of the store. Officers arrived and spoke to the store clerk who advised they had already left the store and no incident had occurred. Officers cleared without further incident.

— Officers responded at 6:47 p.m. on March 24 to a call regarding an open door in front of Huntington Bank. Officers observed nothing and closed the door.

— Officers responded at 8:29 on March 24 to the Lisbon Smith Oil to assist persons with a vehicle lockout. On arrival, the officer was successful in gaining entry into the vehicle.

— Officers responded at 4:59 p.m. to a reckless driver on March 24.

— Officers were dispatched at 5:40 p.m. on March 24 to the Lisbon Save-A-Lot for a reported person experiencing a mental health crisis. On arrival, officers spoke with the person in need and were able to provide them with a ride to their nearby residence and were met with EMS personnel.

— Officers were dispatched at 6:23 p.m. on March 24 to Rose Drive for a vehicle lockout. Officers assisted the driver with gaining entry into the vehicle.

— Officers responded at 11:38 a.m. on March 24 to a possible deceased person at North Market Street. Officers did CPR until EMS arrived. The individual was then transported to the hospital.

— Officers responded at 9:54 a.m. on March 23 to the Kendall House for a person to be removed. Due to threats of self harm, the resident was pink slipped and transported to East Liverpool hospital.

— Officers conducted a traffic stop at 11:04 p.m. on Sunday on Holly Joel, 61, Hanoverton, for a violation of window tint on North Beaver Street. During the course of the traffic stop investigation, Joel was arrested and charged with for operating a vehicle while under the influence.

— Officers responded to Allay Senior Care at 9 a.m. on Sunday for a male resident that was threatening harm to staff. North Star transported the male to East Liverpool City Hospital.

— Officers were advised at 10:10 p.m. on March 20 of two individuals at the station wanting to make a report regarding an incident that had happened on March 18 at Job and Family Services. A report was made about a man bringing something looking like a gun on his waistband into the building.

— Officers responded at 4:28 p.m. on March 18 to a call on East Washington Street regarding someone knocking on someone’s door. The male who knocked on the door was later found and advised he just wanted to borrow some tools.
