— An officer consulted at 2:18 p.m. March 1 with a female subject in the 600 block of North Main Street regarding a road rage incident.
— A complainant reported a Facebook scam shortly after noon Feb. 26 on station.
— Tristan McCorkle, of Rogers, was cited at 5:36 p.m. Feb. 24 for driving under suspension and expired registration, after a traffic stop in the 100 block of east State Route 14.
— Police performed a welfare check at 9:10 p.m. Feb. 23 in the 300 block of North Main Street. No further information was provided.
— Amara Reed, of Youngstown, was cited at 7:31 p.m. Feb. 23 for driving without a valid license and driving without tail lights in the 600 block of state Route 7.
— Edward Pittman, of Salem, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. Feb. 23 on charges of driving under suspension, failure to control and possessing drug paraphernalia, after he disregarded a stop sign and crossed state Route 14, nearly striking a patrol car parked in a private drive before leaving the roadway and his vehicle came to rest behind the Links at Firestone maintenance building.
Wellsville
— Mark Walton, age and address not provided, was arrested due to outstanding warrants after officers responded to a call for the Town Inn Hotel on Feb. 23 for Walton being in an apartment he had been evicted from. Walton told officers he invited Natasha Miller, Alexis Steel and Gary Zgoda, Kira Dunn and Kaleb Famsworth to stay in the apartment to which the owner said he wanted them all trespassed from the property, which the officer did.
— Caiden Grace, 18, address not provided, was charged with assault after the parent of the juvenile he was fighting with reported the altercation on Feb. 27. The incident happened on Feb.22. The juvenile said he was slapped in the face and then an altercation ensued.
— Officers are currently investigating a situation, pending identification of a female who is alleged to have followed a juvenile female on Feb. 27. The juvenile said while she was walking the female followed her in a car screaming and cursing at her and then tried to hit her with the car. This allegedly followed a fight at school between the juvenile and the female’s daughter over a boy.

— Dakota Moss, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for driving with expired plates and a verbal warning for a loud exhaust and was advised to have repairs done to the car following a Feb. 19 traffic stop on state Route 7.
— Kameron Owens, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for speed at a rate of 44 mph in a 25-mph zone following a Feb. 19 traffic stop on Boring Lane.
— Logan McNicol, age and address not provided, was issued citations and a mandatory court date for driving under suspension, speed and license plate obstruction following a Feb. 20 traffic stop on Boring Lane. The officer allowed the vehicle to be driven away by a licensed driver.
— Paige Gass-Flahert, age and address not provided, was issued citations and court date for stop sign violation and speed following a Feb. 21 traffic stop on Boring Lane.
— Devon Ward, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for speed following a Feb. 21 traffic stop on Boring Lane.
— Diana Burns, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for speed and a verbal warning for three other violations following a Feb. 21 traffic stop on Boring Lane.
— Brandon Thomas Byers, age and address not provided, was issued a traffic citation and court date for expired plates following a Feb. 21 traffic stop on state Route 7.

New Waterford
— Officers responded to the 3000 block of Village Park Drive at 2:04 p.m. Tuesday in reference to two dogs running loose. Officers were able to catch both dogs and return them to their home. The owner was issued a verbal warning for dogs running at large and advised another occurrence would result in a citation.
— Officers responded to the Pleasant Valley Trailer Park on Creek Road at 8:26 p.m. Monday to conduct a welfare check on a resident. The resident was found to be fine.
— Officers responded to the 46000 block of state route 46 at 3:45 p.m. Monday in reference to a potential car crash in a resident’s yard. Officers spoke with the caller before taking photos of the damage.
— Officers responded to the 3000 block of East Main Street at 12:45 p.m. Feb. 25 in reference to a cow roaming the backyards. Officers were able to get the cow back in its pen and lock the gate.
— A 46000 block state Route 46 resident reported at 11:49 a.m. Feb. 24 a juvenile was possibly selling drugs and guns.
Perry Township
— Officers on patrol in the 1900 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday located a suspicious vehicle. Officers found the vehicle to be secure and unoccupied.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of Pershing Street to assist Salem officers with a warrant at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 5 p.m. Tuesday for a report of trespassing. The caller advised that her father entered her house unannounced that day and was standing behind her husband while running the vacuum and that this was not the first incident, and she has advised her father to knock on the door. The caller wanted an officer to speak with him and advised him of she and her husband’s wishes. Officers attempted contact and left a message.
— Charles Hildreth III, 50, Salem, was cited for a failure to yield after his vehicle turned onto state Route 45 and struck a vehicle driven westbound on U.S. Route 62 by Richard Pekkanen, 49, Boardman at 5:17 a.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported.
— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Depot Road at 4:56 p.m. Monday for a report of threatening notes left in the mailbox of a residence. The caller presented officers with the material and advised that other neighbors have been leaving similar items and that they believed a resident on Depot Road was the one leaving the items. Officers offered to contact the resident and advised them to stop but the caller was worried that might antagonize them and only wanted a report taken for the time being. Officers were also advised that a detective had received similar material in his mailbox and officers requested the detective follow up with them.
— Officers responded to the 1800 block of Cliff Drive at 6:15 p.m. Sunday to check for a man with an active felony warrant. Officers spoke with a resident and found that the man, Danny Shultz Jr., had fled from the residence and after a brief foot pursuit he was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of East Pidgeon Road at 7:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of a suspicious man. The man was asking if the homeowner had seen his dog and after being advised no, the man continued to knock and would not leave. The man finally left in a dark colored vehicle.
— Officers responded to the 1800 block of Cider Mill Road at 6:23 p.m. Saturday to provide EMT with a lift assist. Officers stood by until they were no longer needed.
— Officers responded to the 1500 block of Jackson Avenue at 8:10 a.m. Saturday for a report of missing prescription medication. The woman advised officers that she did not know who would have taken it or how she could have lost them. Officers contacted the Salem Police Department who advised that they had dealt with the woman on Feb. 28 in relation to a possible overdose, but she did not have the medication in question on her person at that time. The woman also asked for a copy of the report so that she could get the prescriptions refilled by her doctor.
— Officers responded to the 1200 block of West State Street at 11 p.m. Feb. 28 for a reported 911 open line. When officers contact the man, he made statements about harming himself, and EMT responded and transported the man.
Salem
— Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday for a vehicle versus pedestrian accident. The vehicle was traveling through a parking lot and struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to the emergency room.
— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cleveland Street at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday for a parking complaint. Officers spoke with one of the vehicle owner’s family members and they were advised of the complaint. The family member was advised of the options for dealing with the situation.
— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 12:26 p.m. Tuesday who advised the while walking to an appointment, he was confronted by a man who made comments about his shoes. They advised no threats were made but he wanted a report on file in case something happened in the future.
— Officers responded to the 1600 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 12:05 a.m. Thursday for a wellness check. The caller advised that a man was slumped over inside of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the person in question who advised that he was waiting to go to his ex’s house. The man’s license was suspended and officers attempted to get a ride for him, and he agreed to come back to the police department until one was located.
— Officers on patrol in the 100 block of Penn Avenue at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday observed a man outside his vehicle looking for something. Officers spoke with the man who advised he’d lost his wallet at Dairy Queen. Officers spoke with employees who advised the did not find it and after a few minutes of looking in his vehicle the man found his wallet.
