Columbiana

— Nehemiah Bennett, of Youngstown, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. Dec. 21 on an active warrant through the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of East State Route 14.

— Kawand Woodbridge, of Youngstown, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. Dec. 15 on charges of drug paraphernalia, expired registration and no driver’s license in the 100 block of East State Route 14.

— Dillon Allen, of East Liverpool, was cited at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 14 in the area of Heck Road and state Route 7 for driving under suspension.

— A female subject reported at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 14 on station that her license plate was missing.

— Officers took a report for assault at 11:35 p.m. Dec. 13 in the 100 block of Harbor Point.

— A female subject reported at 5:05 p.m. Dec. 13 on station that she believes someone is tracking her phone.

— Payton Photiou, of Liberty, was cited at 11:34 p.m. Dec. 12 for driving under a 12-point suspension in the area of state Routes 7 and 14.

— Police responded at 6:41 p.m. Dec. 12 to a possible breaking and entering at an unoccupied residence in the 1200 block of Fairfield Avenue. No one was located inside after a thorough search of the residence, which exhibited signs of forced entry.

— Subjects reported at 1:07 p.m. Dec. 12 on station a theft by deception.

— Brian McMeans, of Boardman, was cited at 1:02 a.m. Dec. 12 for speeding and improper display of plates near state Route 14 and Germantown Road.

— Police investigated a suspicious vehicle at 9:53 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 700 block of East Park Avenue.

— A private property crash was reported at 4:02 p.m. Dec. 10 in the Southern Terrace Complex.

— A complainant reported at 10:35 a.m. Dec. 10 the theft or failed delivery of his Amazon package on Dec. 1.

— A wallet was turned in at 8:27 p.m. Dec. 9 after being found in a city business.

— A male caller was advised that a power of attorney concern was not a police matter at 11:09 a.m. Dec. 9 and advised to seek legal counsel.

— Todd Kelly was served with a summons for persistent disorderly conduct at 3:04 a.m. Dec. 9 after a disturbance at the Park Court apartment complex.

— An unnamed driver was released after police conducted an OVI investigation shortly after midnight Dec. 8 in the area of Metz and Fairfield School roads.

Salem

— Officers responded to the 200 block of East State Street at 5:01 a.m. Friday for a reported person to be removed. Upon arrival Officers observed a person passed out in the laundry room with a small plastic with an unknown substance inside. Officers detained the person, Joseph Long, 47, Salem, who advised the bag was his. Long was taken into custody and brought back to the department for booking then transported to the Columbiana County Jail charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and additional charges pending lab results.

— Officers on patrol in the 2300 block of East State Street at 4:50 a.m. Friday observed two people behind a business. Officers advised them that they were not allowed to be in the dumpster and that they were supposed to be locked. They advised that they did not see any signs stating they were not allowed to be there and left when officers told them to.

— Officers responded to the 1600 block of East State Street at 4:57 p.m. Thursday for a reported theft. The caller advised that medication that was delivered to her house were taken off her front porch. No suspect information was provided at the time of the incident, and the caller was provided with a report number.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 2:38 p.m. Thursday for a wellness check. Officers spoke with the person in question’s significant other who advised they were at work. He advised that she should be home shortly, and he will have her call her daughter.
