Columbiana
— Larry Warner, of Salem, was cited at 11:40 p.m. Nov. 1 for driving under suspension and white light to rear violations on state Route 14.
— Logan Wilson, of Columbiana, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. Oct. 31 in the first block of East Friend Street on charges of OVI, failing to identify himself, and driving under a 12-point suspension, after he was observed to be operating his vehicle recklessly.
— A female subject reported at 12:42 p.m. Oct. 30 in the first block of South Vine Street that she had been receiving threatening telecommunications.
— Edward Pittman, of Youngstown, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. Oct. 29 in the area of state Route 14 and old Route 14 on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop. He also received a citation for driving under suspension.
— Kassandria Cole, 32, of Columbiana, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. Oct. 28 for OVI near Stanton Avenue and North Middle Street.
— Harry Powell, of Akron, was cited at 5:37 p.m. Oct. 27 in the area of state Route 7 and Metz Road for driving under suspension.
— A complainant came on station at 10:55 a.m. Nov. 2 to report a road rage incident that began near the intersection of state Routes 7 and 14.
East Liverpool
— Officers responded to Dollar General on Oct. 28 after receiving a call from the store manager that the money bag containing their deposit in the amount $4,192.20 was stolen after an employee dropped the money bag while getting in her car. A male was witnessed finding the bag and taking it.
— An officer on patrol on Oct. 28 stopped to check on a semi-truck parked with his hazards on on state Route 39.The driver said he was waiting for yard to open up to pick up.
— A female came to the station on Oct. 28 after she caught her juvenile son smoking marijuana. Officers advised her she could go to Columbiana County Juvenile Office to file unruly charges.
— Officers responded on Oct. 28 to a residence in the 1800 block of Montana for a report of a female needing to be removed from the property. The female left before officers arrived.
— Offices searched on the area of West 8th Street on Oct. 28 for a male walking down the roadway.
— An officer sitting stationary on state Route 39 on Oct. 28 observe a vehicle fail to yield to oncoming traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and gave the driver a verbal warning.
— Officers were dispatched on Oct. 28 to the Shell Gas Station for a female possibly intoxicated walking in the road. Officers located the female who appeared to be okay.
St. Clair Township
— Officers responded to a crash on McGuffy Road on Oct. 30 involving one car and a deer. The deer had to be shot with one round.
— Trinity Lewis was charged on Oct. 30 with assault after officers responded to a fight in Walmart. The victim told officers that while she was walking in the store, Lewis began jumping and yelling and then pulled her to the ground by her hair. Witnesses confirmed the story and officers obtained video footage.
— The owner of Fishing Finatix Bait and Tackle reported to officers a theft on Nov. 2. A male had taken a cigar and walked away without paying for it. Officers were unable to identify the suspect on the video which did not show him taking the cigar.
— Marie Scott was charged with theft after officers responded to a shoplifting call at Walmart on Nov.2. Asset protection said Scott put two items totaling $47.24 in her backpack. She was stopped at the exit.
— A male called into the station on Nov. 4 and told an officer that his camera showed a couple of times in October a woman coming onto his state Route 170 property and looking around a garage where ATVs are stored. The male provided a license plate number which came back to a post office box in Pennsylvania.
— Officers responded to a residence in the 16000 block of Popular Street on Nov. 4 for a female who wanted to report her ex-husband has been violating a no contact order by calling her and having other people call her with messages from him. Officers said a report would be filed and advised her how to seek a protection order.
— Officers responded to Beaver Local Schools on Nov. 5 for a private property crash.
— A female came to the station on Nov. 9 to report being harassed at work and wanted a report filed.
Wellsville
— Jason Barnes, age and address not provided, was charged with criminal trespass after an officer responded to Shoub Towers on Nov. 1 following a call from the property manager who said Barnes was on the trespass list and was seen leaving the building.
Salem
— Officers responded to the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 10:40 a.m. Monday for a reported suspicious person. The caller advised of a person possibly smoking marijuana and skateboarding in the school stadium. Officers checked the area but did not locate the person in question.
— Officers responded to the 1600 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 8:34 a.m. Monday for a reported medical call. Officers were initially unable to locate the person in need of medical attention but ultimately located then on Cedar Street. The person was transported to the Salem Regional Medical center for medical attention.
— Officers responded to the 2500 block of Bentley Drive at 6:29 a.m. Monday for a reported assault. The caller advised one of the residents had been involved in a physical altercation with another resident and a staff member. Officers advised the caller of their options for dealing with the situation.
— Mark Knight was cited for driving under suspension and traffic control device after her westbound vehicle on South Lincoln Avenue ran a red light at 2:50 a.m. Monday. Knight was also found to have an active warrant and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
— Officers responded to the area of East Fourth Street and Ellsworth Avenue at 7:27 p.m. Sunday for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle on East Fourth Street stopped in the roadway with its four-way lights activated. Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the vehicle began to drive westbound and continued ignoring the emergency lights and sirens before striking the rear of a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The driver Julio Box, was taken into custody for OVI following completion of field sobriety testing and transported to the police department charged with OVI, driving under suspension, assured clear distance ahead, and failure to comply, where it was found that he had an active warrant out of Mahoning County, and he was transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of East State Street at 4:14 p.m. Sunday for a reported drive-off. Officers were advised by the caller that a vehicle had left the pump without paying for $15 worth of fuel. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
— Officers responded to the 1400 block of East State Street at 3:17 p.m. Sunday for a reported runaway juvenile. Officers checked the area and were notified that the juvenile had been located in Lisbon by the Lisbon Police Department. Officers met with the Lisbon officers, picked up the juvenile, and returned her back to her residence.
— Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 1:01 p.m. Sunday for a reported reckless operator. Officers were advised that two vehicles were doing donuts in the parking lot and left prior to officers’ arrival Officers stood by in the area but were unable to locate them.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of East Euclid Street at 12:45 a.m. Sunday for a reported juvenile complaint. The caller advised that another juvenile had posted a photo on snapchat which they were claiming to be a picture of their daughter, and a threat was also made by the juvenile. Officers attempted to contact them but were unable.
— Officers observed several people in Sebo Stadium after hours at 11:35 p.m. Saturday. Officers spoke with them, advising them of the hours and they departed.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a person who had fallen in the roadway. She advised she was okay and did not need anything.
— Officers spoke to a person by phone at 2:19 p.m. Saturday regarding an incident that happened three years ago. Officers attempted to speak with the involved parties but were unable to reach them. The matter is under investigation.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Seventh Street at 9:17 a.m. Saturday for a reported burglary. Someone had forced entry into a residence overnight and stolen items from inside. Officers gathered information and photographed damage to a door. Officers also followed up with neighbors for possible surveillance video.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 9:09 a.m. Saturday for a report of suspicious activity. Several people pulled into the driveway of a residence and went into the garage. Officers spoke with the homeowners who were aware of the individuals and advised they are allowed to be on the property.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of Ohio Avenue at 5:37 a.m. Saturday for a report of possible criminal trespass. The caller advised they’d been instructed to contact officers if they noticed anyone at the residence next to theirs and they observed that windows were open, and lights were on in the residence. The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office had evicted everyone from the residence the day prior and nobody was allowed back in due to it being condemned. Officers got permission from the homeowner to search the residence and located a man, Thomas Klink, 33, Salem, taking him into custody for criminal trespass and transporting him to the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of Woodland Avenue at 11:36 p.m. Friday for a report of a barking dog. Officers attempted to contact the owner, but nobody was home. Officers put an ordinance violation warning tag on their front door.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of East State Street at 6:23 p.m. Friday for a report of juveniles in the roadway. The caller advised that kids walked into the roadway in front of a car and almost got hit. Officers spoke with the juveniles, and they advised it was just an accident, and they were on their way to the Fun Factory, and officers advised them to watch where they are going and stay on the crosswalk when crossing the roadway.
