— Officers responded to the 3000 block of Court Street at 11:46 a.m. Wednesday for a natural death investigation and assisted the fire department, coroner’s office and funeral home.

— Officers responded to the 47000 block of South State Street at 6:33 p.m. Oct. 18 in reference to an unknown vehicle or person hitting a mailbox.

Perry Township

— Officers responded to the 900 block of jones Drive at 3:17 p.m. Thursday for a reported trash fire. Officers stood by with the fire department until no longer needed.

— Officers spoke to a man at the police department at 2:52 p.m. Thursday for a report of fraud. The man advised that his social security number was compromised along with multiple accounts being frauded including his two bank accounts and a credit card that were hacked.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of West Pidgeon Road at 1:47 a.m. Thursday for a medical call. The fire department and EMT also responded, and the patient was transported to the hospital.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton Road at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday for a reported suspicious person. Officers found a woman walking near the roadway who advised they were walking to Lisbon and gave them a courtesy transport to Lisbon for their safety.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Benton Road at 5:39 p.m. Wednesday for a report of vandalism. The caller advised that a white pickup truck had thrown a bottle at a sign and spread glass throughout the driveway. Officers observed clear glass from a broken Smirnoff Ice bottle in the driveway and took the report.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Harding Avenue at 6:06 a.m. Wednesday for a neighbor complaint. Officers advised there was nothing criminal and both parties needed to stop communicating with one another.

— Officers responded with the fire department to the 900 block of West Pine Lake Road at 5:52 a.m. Tuesday for a medical call. Officers and first responders were able to get the man who had fallen back into bed.

— Officers responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday to assist the Salem Police Department with locating a man involved in a domestic dispute that left on foot. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the man.

— Officers responded to the area of Georgetown Road at 7:58 p.m. Oct. 14. to assist the Ohio State Highway patrol with a traffic stop. Officers stood by until they were no longer needed.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 4:03 p.m. Oct. 14 for a warrant check. Officers made contact with the person in question Terriann McFarland, 59, Salem, confirming the warrant and transporting him to the Columbiana County Jail.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of Idaho Avenue at 3:43 p.m. Oct. 14 for a warrant check. Officers made contact with the person in question James Leonard, 41, Salem, confirming the felony warrant and transporting him to the Columbiana County jail.

— Officers responded to the 1800 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday for a reported theft. The caller gave a description of the person in question and checked the area but were unable to locate them, and the incident remains under investigation.

— Officers responded with the fire department and EMT to the 1900 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday for a medical call. The person was transported by EMT.

— Officers responded to the area of state Route 9 and Carey Road at 7:04 p.m. Sunday for a reported accident involving a motorcycle. While en route officers were advised the driver had left in another vehicle. When officers arrived, it was determined the incident occurred just outside the township and officers stood by while the Ohio State Highway Patrol took over the scene.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 11:08 a.m. Sunday to assist the Salem Police Department with serving a warrant for two wanted people. Officers assisted with the arrest until no longer needed.

— Officers responded to the Foundry at 2:30 a.m. Sunday to assist Salem officers with an active physical altercation. Officers stood by until they were no longer needed.

— Officers responded to the area of state Route 344 for a reported reckless operator. The area was checked but nobody was located.

— Officers responded to the 2200 block of Goshen Road at 2:57 p.m. Saturday for a complaint of an ATV on the roadway. Officers searched and sat in the area but did not observe any ATV.

— Officers responded to the 1800 block of State Route 344 at 9:08 p.m. Friday for a single-vehicle crash. Officers located a man who appeared to be seriously injured lying outside his vehicle, and EMS transported the man to the hospital. Ohio State Highway Patrol was contacted to handle the crash due to the severity of the crash.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of Cunningham Road at 7:09 p.m. Friday for a minor crash. Officers spoke with both parties who advised that their mirrors had hit each other while passing on the roadway. The involved parties decided to handle the damage themselves and declined a crash report.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Liberty Street at 12:37 p.m. Friday to follow-up for the prosecutor’s office in Kenton County, Kentucky regarding a man paying for services that were never rendered. Officers spoke with the business owner who advised he would speak with the customer and send the parts out within a week.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Chestnut Grove at 10:15 a.m. Friday for a report of tires dumped on the side of the road. Officers took a report and photos, and the road department will recover the tires.

East Liverpool

— An officer responded with the highway patrol on Blakely St., on Oct. 8 and stood standby with an unnamed female until EMS arrived for the female which was in custody and then was on standby with the female at the hospital until the highway patrol arrived and read her the form for OVI.

— An officer working as the school resource officer on Oct. 8 was informed of a student being in possession of a vape that tested positive for THC. The school requested charges be filed against the juvenile and a report was sent to the juvenile prosecutor’s office for further action.

— A parking citation was issued on Oct. 8 for a vehicle parked completely on the sidewalk on Dresden Avenue.

— A male was issued a verbal warning for fictitious plates following an Oct. 8 traffic stop on McKinnon Avenue.

— An officer assisted the highway patrol on a traffic stop on East 5th Street on Oct. 8 for a male and female who both had outstanding warrants. Patrol took the unnamed male into custody for the warrants and gave another female traffic citations. The female with warrants was transported to the police department to wait for a ride.

— A couple came into the police station on Oct. 8 to file a report for theft at their Jackman Street residence. Items missing from the residence were located at the Ogden Street residence of Jim Kidder who was taken into custody for receiving stolen property. While being arrested officers discovered on Kidder a small tube containing a crystal-like substance which was sent to BCI for testing. Kidder was issued a court summons.

— Officers conducted welfare checks on Oct. 8 on a Moore Street resident who failed to show for a doctor’s appointment.

— Officers responded on Oct. 9 to a Grandview Street residence for a possible domestic violence complaint. Officers observed both the male and female as being intoxicated and speaking incoherently. The female said she thought her leg might have been broken but officers did not observe and signs of a physical altercation. The female was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.

— Officers conducted a welfare check on a Green Lane resident who the caller said had not been heard from in a couple of weeks. On Oct. 9 officers spoke to the female’s boyfriend who said the last time he talked to her was in Aug and she was at Generations in Youngstown. He let officers search the home and they did not see any signs of foul play.

— Officers responded to Blakely Street on Oct. 9 for a report of a young child running around with no parents around.

— Tonya Bebout was issued a citation for no driver’s license and expired plates following an Oct. 9 traffic stop on West 5th Street.

— Officers responded to a call regarding the violation of a restraining order at Vine Street residence on Oct. 9

— An unnamed driver with issued a verbal warning for license plate obstruction following an Oct 10 traffic stop on River Road.

— Officers responded to a vehicle parked on River Road after hours at the location. Police informed the driver it was after hours and to move the vehicle which the driver did.

— Officers responded on Oct. 10 to a call from a doctor at East Liverpool City Hospital reporting a patient who they believed to be suicidal leaving the hospital against medical advice. Officers were unable to locate the patient.

— A verbal warning was given for failure to signal following an Oct. 10 traffic stop on state Route 11.

— An officer responded on Oct. 10 to a Lisbon Street residence regarding a restraining order violation.

— Officers responded on Oct. 10 to Mulberry Street for a report of a suspicious person ducking behind cars.

— Officers responded to a Wilbert Street residence on Oct. 10 for a possible domestic. They spoke to a female resident who said she was arguing with her mother on the phone.

— Officers helped move a disabled vehicle from the Jackson Street off ramp on Oct. 10.

— Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident on Market Street on Oct. 10.

— A driver was issued a verbal warning for a non-functioning license plate light following an Oct. 10 traffic stop on state Route 7.

— A driver was issued a verbal warning for speed following an Oct. 10 traffic stop on Pennsylvania Avenue.

— Officers responded to a dispute between neighbors on Ephriam Street on Oct. 11. The caller told officers a neighbor came onto his property and destroyed his mailbox. An investigation will be conducted.

— A male with the last name of Lewis (first name not provided) was transported to the hospital on Oct. 11 after telling officers he was having chest pains. Officers responded to a report that the man had been walking around downtown showing signs of odd behavior. After being identified, it was found the man had warrants.

— Officers responded on Oct. 11 to a Smithfield residence for a trespassing complaint. After speaking with the caller, it was discovered the alleged trespassers were actually on a neighbor’s property with permission to be there.

— A parking citation was issued for a car parked on the sidewalk on St. Clair Avenue on Oct. 11.

— Brandy Pinkerton (age and address not provided) was arrested for an outstanding warrant following an Oct. 11 traffic stop on Pennsylvania for fictitious plates. Pinkerton was transported to jail and First Class Towing towed the vehicle.

— Officers responded to a complaint on Oct. 11 of a suspicious person that kept returning to May Street residence. Officers viewed video footage of the male and then searched the area for him but did not locate him.

— After receiving a complaint of a dirt bike being driven recklessly on Oct. 11 officers responded to the location the caller gave on Lisbon Street. Officers checked the area but did not find anything.

— After responding to a Riverview Street residence on Oct. 11 for a property issue, officers were informed that the issue had been settled.

— Officers responded to a report of stolen bikes from an Ohio Street residence on Oct. 11. The caller provided photos of the missing bikes. The caller later reported that she had recovered the bikes from the Elizabeth Street bridge.

— A female reported on Oct. 11 that her son was chased on Wedgewood Street by two other juveniles claiming he stole their bike. The officers checked the area but did not locate the juveniles.

— Officers took a report from a female who said her son’s scooter was stolen out of her Globe Street yard on Oct. 11.

— Officers responded to a call at an Ambrose Avenue residence on Oct. 10 where the caller said her sister and her boyfriend attempted to assault her. Officers took a statement and menacing charges are pending.

Salem

— Officers spoke to a person by phone at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a possible sexual assault. While speaking with the caller it was determined that the offense took place outside of the city and officers were able to provide the caller with contact information for the police department of the city where the offense took place.

— Officers responded to a business in the 2800 block of East State Street at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday for a report of shoplifting. Asset protection advised that several items had been taken without paying totaling $56 in value. The woman was brought into the asset protection office, identified, and sent on her way. Officers observed security footage and were able to identify the woman and charges are pending.

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of Cedar Ridge Drive at 10:23 a.m. Tuesday to attempt to deliver a message for the Tulsa Oklahoma Police Department but were unable. The property owner advised the person in question had not lived at the residence for nearly 10 years.

— Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 10:02 a.m. Tuesday for a report of solicitors. Officers spoke with the manager at the business who was checking the parking lot for a man and woman. Officers checked the parking lot and were unable to locate them. The manager at the business advised they would check the cameras and see where they went and if they were driving a vehicle.

— Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a suspicious vehicle which was reported on two different occasions. Officers collected information for a report.

— Officers responded to the 2700 block of East State Street at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday regarding an ongoing issue with a person. Officers collected information and advised them to contact officers if anything else is learned or needed.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday for a reported juvenile in need of medical attention. Officers and first responders arrived and transported the juvenile was transported by EMT for further evaluation.

— Officers on patrol in the 1000 block of East State Street at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday observed a man with an active warrant. Officers spoke with the man, Matthew Crowl, 46, Salem, confirming the warrant and taking him into custody and located contraband on his person. Officers transported Crowl to the Columbiana County Jail charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drug abuse instruments.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 5:57 p.m. Wednesday for a reported animal complaint. Officers checked the animals and determined everything was okay.

— Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the vehicle in question, speaking with the driver and nothing suspicious was found.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 1:44 p.m. Wednesday for a criminal trespass report. The juvenile caller advised that two men with blankets covering their faces came into his home. While speaking with the juvenile, officers observed them to be intoxicated and were able to contact his mother and peer support who responded to the scene.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of Prospect Street at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday for a civil issue. Officers spoke with the parties involved and advised them the issue was civil.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of Continental Drive at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday for a report of harassment. The caller advised a neighbor stares at her when she leaves and comes home. Officers advised them to ignore the neighbor and cease all further contact with them.
