— Officers responded to the 2500 block of Bentley Drive at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a resident checking themselves out and leaving the facility intoxicated. Officers spoke with the person who advised they would stay the night and check out of the facility in the morning.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Cleveland Street at 8:33 p.m. Tuesday to check a residence for a woman with an active warrant. They were unable to contact the person in question.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of Buckeye Circle at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday to speak with a woman who advised that she was walking southbound on South Ellsworth Avenue and a person she has a protection order against was walking northbound and walked close past her without crossing to the other side of the street. Officers are familiar with the individual and will speak with him.

— Officers on patrol in the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 6:33p.m. Tuesday spoke with a man with an active warrant. Further investigation showed the man had the warrant out of a county that was not in the pickup radius. The man was advised of the warrant and was sent on his way.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of Woodland Avenue at 6 p.m. Tuesday for a reported juvenile complaint. The caller advised the juvenile had traded a pair of shoes for vape pens and they wanted a report made of the matter.

— Officers responded to the 1500 block of Southeast Boulevard at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday for a reported dispute. The caller advised that his daughter is disrespecting him, and he wants her out of the house. The daughter advised that she is moving out but has to wait until the move-in date. The father was advised that due to her living there for 6 years officers could not force her to leave.

— Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday who advised that an ex-boyfriend has been harassing her by phone, text message and in person for a lengthy period of time. Officers gathered information consistent with elements of telecommunications harassment and menacing by stalking. Officers will attempt contact with the ex-boyfriend to advise them of the potential criminal charges if their behavior persists. The woman was provided a report number and directed to contact the Columbiana County Municipal Court to inquire about obtaining a restraining order. Officers also advised her to file additional police reports if the individual continues to harass her and the applicable charges will be filed.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Walnut Street at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday for a report of an ongoing dispute between neighborhood children. Officers spoke to the juveniles and their parents, and they were advised that if they can’t get along to stay away from each other, and of the possible consequences if they continue to yell and swear at each other.
