— Deputies responded to the 4600 block of Church Street at 6:03 p.m. Wednesday for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that the caller’s grandson had choked her daughter, and a report was taken.
East Liverpool
— Natasha R. Wells, no street listed in East Liverpool, was cited at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday in the first block of St. Clair Avenue for expired vehicle registration.
— Police towed a vehicle with expired tags that was parked on Lisbon Street and cited another parked illegally on Division Street at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday.
— Eric Hoppel was trespassed from Thompson Park at 1:57 p.m. Wednesday.
— Police responded to an accidental alarm drop at 7:21 a.m. Wednesday in the principal’s office at East Liverpool High School.
— Police assisted the Columbiana County Drug Task Force execute a search warrant Tuesday at 629 Minerva St. in the city.
— Officers responded shortly after midnight Tuesday to a burglary alarm at the East Liverpool High School. Upon arrival, everything appeared fine, so they cleared.
— Welfare checks were conducted for three children at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Spring Grove Avenue. There were no signs of poor living conditions or abuse to the children present at the time.
— Police were unable to locate a vehicle driving the wrong way at 2:21 p.m. Monday on state Route 39.
— A caller advised police that at 3:16 p.m. Monday that a gray Dodge Durango ran a red light and almost hit a child in the area of Oak Street. Officers investigated but had negative contact.
— Police accompanied the East Liverpool schools’ truancy officer to a property at 2:30 p.m. Monday to give a family household items to hold following a recent house fire.
— Police responded at 3:15 p.m. Monday for an alarm drop at the old Rite Aid building. Upon arrival, all was secure.
— Davon Moats, of no address listed, was arrested at 10:48 a.m. Monday on a charge of having weapons under a disability in the 500 block of East Fourth Street. Police were called to assist adult probation who discovered a loaded 9mm high point in his bedroom closet despite being a convicted felon and not allowed to possess a firearm.
— George Dilling, no address listed, was arrested at 3:06 a.m. Sunday on a charge of public intoxication, after an officer on foot patrol witnessed he and another subject arguing while obviously impaired.
— A female caller reported at 2:39 pm. Sunday that a juvenile had been bullying a 5-year-old female at Woodland Hills. Both juveniles were advised to leave each other alone.
— Police investigated suspicious activity at 2:25 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Bradshaw Avenue.
— Officers investigated a complaint about juveniles running around and being loud shortly after midnight Sunday in the 400 block of Wilbert Avenue.
— Jennifer McLaughlin, no address listed, was given a verbal warning at 1:56 .m. Sunday for impeding traffic in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
— Police responded at 10:10 a.m. Sunday to investigate an unruly juvenile in the 800 block of Avondale.
— Officers investigate the possible theft of copper wiring at 11:06 a.m Monday in the 1200 block of Erie Street. The owner of the property stated that no one had permission to take anything from the home or his yard, so the male subject was told to stay out of the neighborhood. Possible charges may be pending.
— Nathan Romano, no address listed, was given a verbal warning at 1:26 a.m. Sunday in the first block of state Route 39 for improper display.
Perry Township
— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Harding Avenue at 8:22 p.m. Thursday for a reported missing person. The caller advised that his roommate and wife’s boyfriend had not been heard from since approximately 10 a.m. that day. Officers spoke with a woman who advised the man in question had been depressed and suicidal and was going to the counseling center on Vine Street in Salem and had advised her at 10 a.m. that he was waiting to see the doctor and had not been heard of since. Officers entered the person in question as a missing person into leads.
— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Harding Avenue at 6:07 p.m. Oct. 9 for a reported neighbor complaint. Both parties were advised not to have contact with each other and to leave each other’s property alone.
— Officers responded to the 1300 block of West State Street at 4:34 p.m. Oct. 8 for a reported domestic altercation. Officers spoke with both parties and determined a verbal argument had ensued between the two residents. Officers determined the argument to be civil in nature and instructed the occupants to separate for the night.
— Officers responded to the 900 block of Andrew Avenue at 5:55 a.m. Oct. 8 for a reported medical call. The homeowner advised that no assistance was needed.
— Officers responded to the 100 block of Blossom Lane at 2:55 a.m. Oct. 8 for a reported fire alarm. Officers arrived on scene and found no signs of smoke and assisted the fire department.
