— A man on 12th Street, West Township reported at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday that vehicles were not stopping at the stop sign at 12th Street at Mountz Road.

— Deputies were dispatched at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday to Union Ridge Road, Middleton Township, for a 911 open line. Deputies spoke with the homeowner, who said it was an accident.

— West Branch school district personnel requested a welfare check on a student on Valley Road, Butler Township, at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday. A deputy spoke with the student, who said they were fine. A parent was present.

–Officers responded to the 600 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 7:34 p.m. Wednesday for a report of suspicious activity. When officers arrived, they found everything checked OK and the vehicle in question left the area prior to officers’ arrival.

–Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday for a report of theft. The caller advised that she recently quit her job at the above business and had some personal belongings in an employee closet. However, she found that her belongings were either discarded or stolen by other employees. The matter is under investigation.

–Officers responded to the 1200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday for a reported open burn. Officers had the fire department respond and the fire was put out.

–Officers responded to the 500 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 5:13 p.m. Wednesday for a reported juvenile issue. The caller advised their son was being bullied by another juvenile and wanted to know what could be done about it. Officers gathered information of all the juveniles involved and advised they would attempt to make contact with them. Officers spoke to the juvenile’s step father and informed him of the incident. He advised that he would have a talk with the juvenile. Officers advised all parties to stay away from one another. The school resource officer has also been notified of the incident.

–Officers responded to the 1200 block of Mound Street at 4:46 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a dog on the roof of a residence. Officers were able to contact a family member of the dog’s owner who advised they would take care of the problem.

–Officers responded to the 500 block of Walnut Street at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday for a reported juvenile issue. Officers spoke to the caller who advised that a group of juveniles were bullying his juveniles. Officers spoke to all the juveniles and advised them to stay away from each other.

–Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. Officers located the vehicle in question in the 2300 block of Bentley Drive and initiated a traffic stop, advising the driver of the complaint.

–Officers responded to the 600 block of East Ninth Street at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday to speak with a tenant of a condemned residence. Officers advised the man of the situation, and he said he understood.

–Officers spoke to a person by phone at 8:46 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a possible scam. The caller advised that she attempted to call a number she thought was Amazon but realized the person was requesting information that was not pertinent. The caller advised that she did not provide any personal or financial information.

–Officers responded to the 800 block of West State Street at 4:32 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an unknown problem. When officers arrived, the caller wanted the trunk of her vehicle opened but due to damage officers were unable to.

–Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday for a reported person to be removed. An employee of the business advised a man was sitting in the parking lot for an extended period and was asked to leave at one point by employees but was not moving along. Officers advised the man to leave the premises, and he was sent on his way.

–Officers responded to the 600 block of Vine Avenue at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday for a reported domestic dispute. The couple had been arguing over property and the items were returned and they separated for the night.

–Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 10:33 p.m. Tuesday for a wellness check. The caller, who knows the person in question, advised that he sent them a text message making comments of self-harm. Officers were able to speak with the man and the fire department responded and transported the man to an appropriate medical facility.
