Sheriff’s Office
— A caller reported a vehicle sitting alongside the roadway on state Route 154, Elkrun Township, with four males inside at 5:31 p.m. Saturday. A deputy checked the area, but didn’t find anyone.
— A man on Cream Ridge Road, Elkrun Township, reported at 4:22 p.m. Saturday that his neighbor or the Columbiana County dog warden has his three dogs, due to him being in jail. He was advised to contact the dog warden and an attorney.
— A deputy was dispatched at 5:01 p.m. Saturday to the 7900 block of Rochester Road in West Township for a shooting complaint, but no one was located after a check of the area.
— A woman on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township reported at 6:23 p.m. Friday that her landlord was sending her harassing text messages to move out of the residence. She was advised of the eviction process and how to obtain a protection order.
— A man on Eagleton Road, Salem Township, reported at 5:05 p.m. Friday that his wife has some medical issues and stayed with their son in Mahoning County and told him he’s no longer her power of attorney. He was advised to contact an attorney.
— A deputy responded at 8:15 a.m. Friday to Lisbon Road in Center Township near the baseball fields for cattle in the road. Upon arrival, the cattle were located in a yard where they were being placed back into the fenced in area.
— Debris was reported in the road on Y & O Road near McIntosh and Dunn roads at 1:35 a.m. Thursday. A deputy found a plastic chair and a plastic bag with aluminum cans in it, along with several cans along the road. They were cleared from the road. There was no evidence who may have left the items.
— A domestic dispute was reported at 10:38 p.m. Oct. 2 on Lake Point Drive, Knox Township.
— Deputies were dispatched at 8:35 p.m. Oct. 2 to the 8000 block of Sprucevale Road, Middleton Township for multiple 911 calls of multiple explosions, possibly dynamite being set off. Deputies checked the area, but didn’t find anything.
— A domestic dispute was reported at 7:26 p.m. Oct. 2 on South Lane Drive, Hanover Township.
— Deputies were dispatched at 5:49 p.m. Oct. 2 to old state Route 344, Salem Township, for a male allegedly making suicidal threats. Deputies spoke with the male, who was from Carroll County and said he never made any suicidal threats. He said he was trying to get back to his residence in Carroll County and was waiting on a ride.
— Sheep were reported in the roadway in the 35000 block of state Route 172, Center Township, at 5:37 p.m. Oct. 2, but deputies didn’t find anything while checking the area.
— A man on Wildwood Drive, Knox Township reported at 3:58 p.m. Oct. 2 that his chainsaw was stolen from inside a detached garage sometime in the last two weeks.
— A man on state Route 39, Yellow Creek Township, reported at 2:48 p.m. Oct. 2 that he is the power of attorney over his brother, who lives in Madison Township, and a credit card was opened in his name.
— A caller reported at 9:56 p.m. Oct. 1 that her neighbor on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, was in the hospital and a woman was trespassing on the property. Deputies spoke with the woman and she said she lives there.
