-- A woman on Rochester Road, West Township, reported at 8:34 p.m. Sept.12 that someone tampered with the tape she has on her outside windows.
-- A Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, resident reported at 1:42 p.m. Sept. 12 that unknown people were calling and harassing him.
-- A man on state Route 14, Fairfield Township, reported at 10:31 a.m. Sept. 12 that tires were dumped on his property.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 8:23 p.m. Sept. 11 to the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Lisbon Road for a suspicious person, finding a woman from Center Township who was then provided a courtesy ride to a family member's residence on Rose Drive.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 7:29 p.m. Sept. 11 to a Norfolk Southern railroad overpass on Mechanicstown Road, Hanover Township, for a vehicle parked on the overpass. Upon arrival, the vehicle was gone.
-- A man on Depot Road, Hanover Township, reported at 5:01 p.m. Sept. 11 that he has a protection order against a man who was at a neighbor's residence within 500 feet of his home.
-- A man on Morris Road, Elkrun Township, reported a scam at 4:31 p.m. Sept. 11, saying that he received multiple phone calls from a person claiming to be Deputy Dylan from the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office who needed $750 for a warrant issued for the man to go away. The man paid the $750 through bitcoin, then called the sheriff's office dispatch to check on the status of the warrant, to which dispatch told him he never had one issued for him.

-- Yexica Alvarez, 26, Youngstown, was cited for speeding after her eastbound vehicle on state Route 165 was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 6:09 p.m. Sept. 5.
-- Emile Dubois, 56, Lisbon, was cited for a seatbelt violation and given a verbal warning for speed after his westbound vehicle on Alliance Salem Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 10:12 a.m. Sept. 5.
-- Sujit Pal, 48, Salem, was cited for speeding after his southbound vehicle on Green Beaver Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 7:34 a.m. Sept. 5.
-- Officers responded to a residence in the 8500 block of West South Range Road at 6:35 a.m. Sept. 5 for a medical call. Officers applied an automated electronic defibrillator following its instructions and began chest compressions. The Green Township Fire Department took over upon arrival and transported the woman in question to the Salem Regional Medical Center.
-- Officers responded to the area of U.S. Route 62 and South Salem Warren Road at 6:52 p.m. Sept. 4 to assist Perry Township officers with a crash involving a horse trailer and a passenger car. Officers were asked to help direct traffic and assisted until the accident was cleared.
-- Officers responded to the 9000 block of West Calla Road at 12:38 a.m. Sept. 4 to assist the Green Township Fire Department with a reported tree down on wires that was potentially on fire. The fire department checked the area, and no spark or fire was detected, and Ohio Edison was contacted to respond.
-- Daniel Sperdute, 23, New Castle, Pennsylvania, was cited for speeding after his eastbound vehicle on West Western Reserve Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 8:12 a.m. Sept. 4.
-- Jose Diaz, 31, Greenville, South Carolina, was cited for lanes of travel and no operator's license after his eastbound vehicle on state Route 165 went left of center nearly causing a head on collision with officers at 6:54 a.m. Sept. 4.
-- Danielle Catullo, 21, Boardman, was cited for failure to obey traffic control devices after her westbound vehicle West South Range Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit and failing to stop for at a stop sign and red light at 7:31 p.m. Sept. 3.
-- Officers responded to the 12000 block of Goshen Road at 9:16 a.m. Sept. 3 for a reported domestic dispute. The third-party caller advised they heard an argument, and a man smashed out the back window of a vehicle. When officers arrived, they observed a vehicle with a broken back window, and a man vacuuming out the glass in the vehicle. The man advised officers he'd thrown an object during an argument and accidentally hit the back window of the vehicle. Officers spoke with the female half who advised that a verbal argument occurred with nothing physical and that she was never threatened, but the man did throw an unknown object at her and hit the car instead, and she didn't know if he was intending to hit her with the item. Officers asked the man what he threw and if he'd intended to hit the woman, and he advised it was a jar of roaches that he was just trying to throw in the yard and accidentally hit the car. Officers advised both parties to remain civil.

-- Officers responded to the 400 block of East Fifth Street at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday for a report of suspicious activity. The caller advised that she could hear a man screaming behind her residence. Nobody was found to be screaming but officers located a man who advised that he had just left the caller's residence because she threw him out. Everything was found to be okay.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of East Second Street at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday for a reported medical call. Officers were advised that the person had made threats to harm themselves and wanted to go to the hospital. Officers spoke with the fire department who were with the person and advised they were okay.
-- Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 3:57 p.m. Monday for a speak with officer report. The caller advised that she was having issues with a co-worker posting information on Facebook. The caller was advised that the issue was not criminal but was advised of her options.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Ohio Avenue at 3:39 p.m. Monday for a reported juvenile problem. The caller, who is the juvenile's guardian, advised that they would not get into their vehicle. Officers spoke with the juvenile who got into the vehicle, and the caller was advised of the process of filing unruly charges.
-- Officers spoke to a person at the police department about an incident that occurred in another jurisdiction at 12:22 p.m. Monday. Officers provided them with options for dealing with the situation.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 1 a.m. Monday for a report of an intoxicated person in the roadway. Officers located the person on the ground in the curb lawn and his bike in the roadway after having fallen down. The person was found to be extremely intoxicated and trying to get home. His mother was contacted and responded to pick him up, and the man was issued a warning for disorderly conduct and his bike was stored at the station to be picked up later.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Fourth Street at 10:18 p.m. Sunday for a reported dispute with no threats. Officers responded and were advised an intoxicated man was found walking in the street and was brought to his residence but refused to go inside. Officers were advised that the man had been arguing with his spouse and wanted to go for a walk. The man was advised that due to his intoxicated state, he was not permitted to be out walking and to go inside. The man then agreed to go inside his residence.
-- Officers responded to the area of East State Street and South Union Avenue at 7:29 p.m. Sunday for a report of an intoxicated man staggering as he walked. Contact was made and there was found to be a language barrier, and he was able to provide identification of where he resided and was ultimately transported to his residence.
-- Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 4:59 p.m. Sunday regarding threats made by an ex-boyfriend. The woman advised her ex also threatened her father via Snapchat voice messages, and that she hasn't seen him for two and a half months. The woman asked about a protection order and officers advised her of the process to obtain one. Officers also called the ex-boyfriend and left a voicemail.
-- Officers responded to the area of East State Street and East Pershing Street at 4:45 p.m. Sunday for a reported reckless operator that allegedly failed to stop for a sign near Centennial Park with pedestrians near the intersection. The caller provided a registration, and the vehicle was subsequently located at a business in the 1800 block of East State Street. Officers spoke with the driver who advised they did not realize they had run a stop sign but acknowledged being in the area a short time earlier. The driver was given a warning for the violation and advised to pay close attention to the posted traffic signs and pedestrians when driving.
-- Officers responded to the 2500 block of Bentley Drive at 12:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of a physical altercation between two residents. Officers spoke with both parties, one of which did have a minor visible injury to his nose caused by the other. Voluntary statements were left for both to fill out.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of East Fourth Street at 12:32 p.m. Sunday for a wellness check. The caller advised that her mother has been having some health issues and she hasn't been able to get a hold of her. Officers spoke with the woman and advised her of the complaint. She advised that she'd contact her daughter.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 12:13 p.m. Sunday for a speak with officer report. The caller advised that a vehicle was driving through a yard near their residence. Officers checked the area but did not locate any tire marks in the yard.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of West Wilson Street at 9:44 a.m. Sunday for a reported tree down in an alleyway. The caller also advised that there were bees in the tree. The street department was notified.
-- Officers responded to the 1500 block of Southeast Boulevard at 2:42 a.m. Sunday to peak with a woman who reported that her Wi-Fi was hacked. The woman was advised to make the Wi-Fi private and contact the internet company for further assistance.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Third Street at 1:49 a.m. Sunday for a reported domestic in progress. Prior to officers' arrival dispatch "advised officers to step up the pace" as the incident had become physical. When officers arrived the caller, who is the daughter of the couple in question, came outside screaming that her father was hitting her mother. Officers entered the residence and located them in a first-floor bedroom, where officers observed the female half to be in the fetal position in the corner of the room and crying hysterically with an injury to the head. Officers immediately placed the male half, Francisco Jose, 38, Salem, into custody for domestic violence and the fire department and EMT were requested to the scene and transported the female half to the Salem Regional Medical Center for treatment. Jose was transported to the police department for processing and later transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers on patrol in the 1000 block of East State Street at 12:50 a.m. Sunday observed a woman slumped over in the driver's seat of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the woman and found they had just fallen asleep and weren't in need of any assistance.
-- Officers on patrol in the 2300 block of East State Street at 12:35 a.m. Sunday located two people behind Goodwill rummaging through a dumpster. They were advised the business does not want anyone in their dumpster and sent them on their way without incident.
