Sheriff’s Office
— A juvenile-related report was taken on state Route 9, Hanover Township, when a deputy arrived at 7:32 p.m. Thursday.
— A resident on Canal Street, West Township, filed a report at 4:26 p.m. Thursday for one to be removed, saying that his father came onto his property, went into the garage, then left.
— A woman on Westville Lake Road, Knox Township, reported at 3:36 p.m. Thursday that her 17-year-old son was receiving harassing text messages from an unknown number.
— A man on Rose Drive, Center Township, reported at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday that he just activated his card and there’s already money withdrawn from the account.
— A woman on Depot Road, Hanover Township, reported at 3:11 p.m. Wednesday that her 8-year-old son was receiving unwanted text messages from other kids his age from school.
— A deputy was dispatched at 4:43 p.m. Tuesday to Lisbon Road at state Route 344, Salem Township, for an abandoned vehicle with a smashed windshield. The deputy checked the area, but had no contact with the alleged vehicle.
— Boardman Township police called at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday to request a deputy go to a residence on Roller Coaster Road, Elkrun Township, to make contact with a missing juvenile out of their jurisdiction. There was no contact with the juvenile.
Columbiana
— Officers consulted at 1:54 p.m. Aug. 9 on station with an Union Street resident who said that her screen door was damaged by a FedEx delivery driver.
— A city resident reported at 1:13 p.m. Aug. 8 on station that he was the victim of fraud.
— An officer responded at 12:43 p.m. Aug. 8 to the Columbiana Fire Department, where an employee reported being the victim of telecommunication harassment.
— A private property crash was reported at noon Aug. 8 in the Columbiana Plaza on South Main Street.
— An alleged victim came on station at 10:47 a.m. Aug. 8 to report violation of a protection order. Charges were filed against the alleged perpetrator.
— A female subject reported at 5:03 pm. Aug. 7 in the 2000 block of Maple Drive that she was the victim of identity theft.
— A private property crash was reported at 3:54 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 100 block of Royal Birkdale.
— M. Moraski was cited at 9:49 p.m. Aug. 8 for reckless operation in the area of West Park Avenue and North West Street.
— A male subject reported criminal damaging at 1:58 p.m. Aug. 5 in the 100 block of North Vine Street.
New Waterford
— Officers responded to the 46000 block of Crestview Road at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in reference to an individual having some mental issues. Officers requested an ambulance take him to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
— Officers responded to the 46000 block of Dogwood Circle at 11:09 a.m. Aug. 12 in reference to a criminal damaging complaint.
— Officers responded to the 47000 block of South State Street at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 10 where a woman was having problem’s with her children’s father. She was offered advice since it was primarily a civil problem.
— Officers at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 10 spoke on station with the parents of a missing female.
East Palestine
— A North Market Street business manager reported at 8:25 a.m. Friday a theft incident that occurred the prior day. An investigation is pending.
— Police responded to a complaint regarding juveniles in the 100 block of Wood Street at 9:59 p.m. Thursday.
— Taylor Snyder, 33, no address listed, was arrested for violating a protection order after officers responded to a loud argument in the 600 block of North Market Street at 8:01 p.m. Thursday. Candice DeSanzo, 44, no address listed, was charged with obstructing official business.
— An officer responded to the 100 block of Wood Street at 2:28 p.m. Thursday in reference to juveniles playing basketball in the street and not moving for vehicles. The officer checked the area but could not find anyone.
— A Garfield Avenue woman reported at 1:27 p.m. Thursday someone had been stalking her.
— Officers responded to the first block of Malibu Drive at 11:46 p.m. Thursday in reference to a woman the resident did not want on the property who was causing issues by banging on the door and refusing to leave. The woman left before officers arrived, but the resident wanted the woman trespassed from the property.
— Officers spoke with a 600 block West Martin Street resident at 3:09 a.m. Thursday who reported a theft.
