-- Officers spoke to an employee from Italo's who said sometime during the day of June 27 someone paid for their purchase with a fake $20 bill.
-- Officers discovered a male driver was having a medical emergency after receiving a report of a reckless driver on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road on June 28.
-- Calcutta Towing towed a vehicle registered to James Keys, age and address not provided, after he was stopped on state Route 11 on June 28 at 8:41 p.m. for an expired registration. Additional officers arrived on the scene and the officers asked them to get the driver and two passengers, one of them a juvenile, out of the car so the K9 could do an open-air sniff. The K9 alerted the front passenger door, but officers found nothing. They searched the occupants and found a large amount of cash, marijuana and THC cartridges on the juvenile. The juvenile gave several stories about how he got it. Keys was issued a citation for the violations and all parties were released from the traffic stop.
-- An employee at Wendy's filed a complaint against a drive through customer who she said showed an inappropriate photo picture of his private parts to her when she brought his order out to him on July 3. Neither person said anything but the employee told officers he was smiling at her in a creepy way. Video of the car was obtained.
-- Officers took a report from Malik Merchant at Carriage Hills Apartment who said he had been robbed after withdrawing money from the PNC ATM on July 5. Merchant told officers he was robbed by gunpoint by a male he identified and filled out a statement. After further questioning, Merchant admitted the story was false and he had made it up. Merchant was charged with making false alarms and issued a court summons.
