-- Officers responded to the 1000 block of West State Street at 8:35 a.m. Saturday for a report of an irate person. The caller advised that the person left prior to officers' arrival who advised that the person was upset over items he was trying to purchase at the store then became irate, and she wanted him to be trespassed from the store. The caller signed a trespass form and located the person who signed the form and advised he would not go back to the store.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 4:26 a.m. Saturday for a wellness check. Officers locate the man in question and advised he was okay, and the business advised they wanted the man to be trespassed. The man was given a written criminal trespass warning and left the area. Officers cleared without incident.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Vine Avenue at 2:12 a.m. Saturday for a warrant check. Officers located the woman, Tiffany Koncsler, 25, Salem, who had an active warrant through Pennsylvania. Officers confirmed the warrant and took the woman into custody. Officers transported the woman to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers observed a woman known to be suspended driving a vehicle in the area of East Pershing Street and Park Avenue at 11:58 p.m. Saturday and attempted a traffic stop. The woman did not stop after officers activated the lights and siren and continued east toward Park Avenue. The vehicle then headed south on Park Avenue before turning east onto Oak Street, turned down the alley, and came to a stop in the parking lot of a residence in the 600 block of Park Avenue. Officers spoke with the woman, Kayla Grooms, who advised "she just wanted to go home," making comments that she had kids at home and that she did not like police. She was taken into custody for failure to comply and cited for driving under suspension and transported to the Salem Police Department for booking prior to transportation to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 9:22 p.m. Friday for a report of a man passed out on the bench. Contact was made with the man who advised that he had fallen asleep on the bench while waiting for a friend to come back who never did, and that nothing was needed.
-- Officers responded to the 1000 block of East State Street at 8:34 p.m. Friday for a report of threats. Officers spoke with the involved parties, and the matter is under investigation.
-- Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 8:27 p.m. Friday regarding an ongoing issue between her kids and two other juveniles. Officers spoke with the other juvenile involved, and all parties were advised to cease contact with one another.
-- Officers responded to the area of North Madison Avenue at 6:28 p.m. Friday for a reported noise complaint. Officers checked the area but did not locate the source of the noise.

-- Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 4:13 p.m. Friday regarding a ride out of the city. Officers advised the caller of their options for dealing with the situation.
-- Officers responded to the 1900 block of Fairview Court at 4:02 p.m. Friday for a report of harassment. Officers advised the caller of their options for dealing with the situation. Officers contacted the person in question and advised them of the complaint.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 2:13 p.m. Friday to assist the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. Officers took the person into custody and transported them back to the police department for booking. Once the booking process was complete Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the department and transported them to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 1:59 p.m. Friday who bought a vehicle and while cleaning out the vehicle located a police badge for the Euclid Police Department. She brought the badge to the department, and it was taken for safe keeping and officers will be contacting the Euclid Police Department.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Park Avenue at 2:07 p.m. Friday for a speak with officer report. The caller advised he wanted a frisbee gold course moved away from his house because people playing keep hitting his vehicle and other vehicles driving by. Officers advised him he would need to speak with the parks department.

The caller advised that a former employee had some property that belonged to the business and was refusing to return it. Officers advised the caller of their options for dealing with the situation.
-- Officers responded to the 1000 block of Cleveland Street at 10:26 a.m. Friday for a report of a suspicious package. The caller advised that some unknown person had mailed her a dead rat in a package with no return address on it. The caller advised they had no idea who sent it and the rat was disposed of and the package was brought back to the police department for possible evidence.
-- Officers responded to the 1400 block of East State Street at 9:42 a.m. Friday for a runaway juvenile report. The caller advised that her foster child had run away, and filled out a missing person report so the juvenile could be entered into LEADS. Officers did not locate the juvenile and she was returned home.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of East State Street at 7:33 a.m. Friday for a wellness check. Officers located the man in question, and he was found to be okay. The man gathered his belongings and left the area so there would be no further problems.
-- Officers responded to the 1400 block of East State Street at 5:22 a.m. Friday for a report of a runaway juvenile. The caller advised that a female juvenile ran away from the residence. Officers located the juvenile and returned her to the caller.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of North Madison Avenue at 12:28 a.m. Friday for a reported assault that had taken place. Officers collected information about the matter and the person in question had left prior to their arrival. The matter will be under investigation.
-- Officers responded to the 2200 block of Monroe Street at 10:52 p.m. Thursday for a report of lasers being shined through the window of a residence. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anybody doing so.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 9:24 p.m. Thursday for a reported domestic dispute. The caller and her boyfriend got into a verbal altercation and the man gathered his belongings and left.
-- Officers responded to the 700 block of West Pershing Street at 8:35 p.m. Thursday for a report of a runaway juvenile at the residence. Officers transported the juvenile back to her residence, and child protective services were contacted and made aware of the incident.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Penn Avenue at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for a reported dog bite. The caller advised that while on her postal route two dogs attacked him at a residence. The caller had minor bites and scrapes on his hand, leg, and hip. Officers responded to the residence and spoke with the owner of the dogs who advised this had never happened before and they didn't know why the dogs attacked the mailman. The incident took place on the front porch while the mailman was delivering the mail, and information was gathered.

The caller advised that he resides at the residence but is moving out in the middle of July and his ex locked him out and he needed to get his work clothing. Officers attempted contact several times with the woman, but she refused to answer the door. The caller was given options and advised to try again in the morning.
