-- Officers responded on the morning of July 7 to the Family Dollar parking lot for a report of a person doing doughnuts in a jeep and hitting a light pole. While searching for the vehicle, officers were notified that a jeep matching the same description was driving north on Broadway Avenue in the southbound lane at a high rate of speed and driving in and out of residents' yards. Officers found the jeep and Lori Ridgby, age and address not provided, in the Rite Aid parking and Ridgby was arrested, issued multiple traffic violations, charged with resisting arrest and panic and transported to the hospital after officers used a taser due to her resisting.
-- A female who said she feared for her life came into the police station on July 7 to request a restraining order against a male. Officers advised her how to obtain one.
