-- Officers observed a woman walk into Sebo Stadium and into the back of the stadium at 4:09 p.m. Sunday. After a couple minutes the woman left the stadium and officers checked the area she was in and located drug paraphernalia which was collected and destroyed. Officers attempted to locate the woman, but she was no longer in the area.
-- Officers spoke to a person by phone at 12:26 p.m. Sunday regarding an ongoing situation with an ex-roommate. The caller advised that some of their personal belongings were placed at the curb, listed as free on a local Facebook group and advised that some of their items were now gone. Officers advised the caller a police report would be made and sent down for review for possible charges.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Franklin Street at 11:05 a.m. Sunday for a reported verbal dispute. The caller advised he had an altercation with another man who lives in the residence. The caller advised the man got in his face and yelled at him and pushed him them he pushed the man back. The caller did not want to pursue any charges at that time and just wanted it documented. The other man advised the same and did not want to pursue any charges.
-- Officers responded to the area of South Madison Avenue and East State Street at 5:44 a.m. Sunday to assist an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper with a traffic stop. The trooper arrested a female driver for driving under the influence of alcohol and officers stood by until the trooper was done with the arrest and paperwork.
-- Officers responded to the first block of Edgewood Drive at 2:56 a.m. Sunday to check for possible vandalism. Highway Patrol had stopped an individual and located a street sign matching a street within city limits and requested officers check if the street sign was damaged or taken. Officers observed the sign to be intact and not damaged, and the trooper was advised of the same.
-- Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 10:49 p.m. Saturday regarding a wellness check on her fiance who she advised was acting strangely and possibly on an illegal substance. After discovering the man was outside city limits a bolo was sent to other agencies to stop and check on the person if seen.
-- Officers responded to Walmart at 10:43 p.m. Saturday for a reported assault. The caller advised that while she was checking out at a self-checkout register an employee who he had been close with in the past charged at him and struck him in the face. Officers also spoke with the other party who advised that she was struck in the face by the caller first and defended herself. Officers were able to view video footage from the incident and statements from both parties. The matter is being sent to the prosecutor's for review.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 9:41 p.m. Saturday for a report of a vehicle blocking the entrance to a driveway. The officers spoke with the owner and the vehicle was moved.
-- Officers responded to the 1000 block of Buckeye Avenue at 9:13 p.m. Saturday for a report of criminal trespassing. The caller advised multiple subjects were walking on his property and looking into a vehicle. When officers arrived, they could not locate the people in question and did not observe any damage to the vehicle. The caller was advised that officers will provide an extra watch on the residence.
-- Officers responded to Sugartree Alley at 7:37 p.m. Saturday for a report of possible shots fired. The caller advised that he thought he heard a pistol being fired behind a business. Officers checked the area for several minutes, but all appeared to be okay.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 7:17 p.m. Saturday for a reported dispute. It was advised that the person was arguing with the caller about their property. The person in question was given their belongings and the man was advised that he was no longer welcome on the property as they were leaving, and the caller was advised to call back if need be.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 4:38 p.m. Saturday for a child custody dispute. The caller requested documentation that he has court ordered 50/50 custody of his two children but has not seen them since June 16 and the children's mother has allegedly blocked the caller from being able to contact her and he does not know where they reside. Officers advised a report would be made and subsequently provided a report number to the caller to provide his attorney regarding the alleged contempt of court custody issue.
-- While on scene for a separate incident in the 500 block of Continental Drive at 4:23 p.m. Saturday officers were advised of a telecommunications harassment issue involving the caller's sibling. The sibling advised they did not want to pursue charges at that time and the caller was advised of the potential charges that could result for telecommunications harassment.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 3:28 p.m. Saturday for a reported burglary. Officers were advised by the landlord there was a mix up of a 10-day notice given from the tenant. Information was gathered and the incident is pending investigation.
-- Officers responded to the area of North Ellsworth Avenue and East Second Street at 2:56 p.m. Saturday for a report of a large group of motorcycles traveling through town and blocking intersections. Officers located the group who were participating in a large memorial ride. Officers advised them of the complaint and requested that for any future rides they contact the police department in advance to arrange for an escort or traffic control.
-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for a report of a man that appeared to be touching themselves in a sexual manner. Officers checked the area but did not observe anyone.
-- Officers spoke with a man at the police department at 10:40 a.m. Saturday for a reported child custody dispute. The caller advised that he had arrived at the scheduled meeting location and time in accordance with the court order to pick up his two children and his ex-wife was not there. The caller advised that per his lawyer he was to make a police report of the missed exchange.
-- Officers spoke to a woman at the police department to report unauthorized use of her credit card. The caller advised that she attempted to get gas yesterday and due to the nationwide computer outage, her credit cards would not work and she left the gas station but there was still a $90 charge to her credit card. Officers requested video footage from the gas station and were told it would be ready later in the day.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of West Seventh Street at 5:01 a.m. Saturday for a report of suspicious activity. The caller advised that they heard knocking on their windows. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone. The caller was advised an extra watch would be conducted on the residence.
-- Officers responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue at 4:08 a.m. Saturday for a report of a vehicle driving recklessly. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle in question.
