East Palestine

-- Officers took a report at 6:12 p.m. of a patient assaulting another patient at the Covington Health Care Center in Covington Drive on Sunday.

-- Officers respond to a report of a disturbance at 4:32 p.m. on East Martin Street on Sunday.

-- Officers received reports of juveniles playing on the railroad tracks underneath the West Street Bridge at 3:17 p.m. on Sunday. Officers advised the juveniles to go elsewhere.

-- Officers responded at 11:51 p.m. to East Martin Street to a report of threats being made with a firearm on Saturday. Chad Murray, no age or address given, was arrested on several charges not specified in the report.

-- Officers responded at 11:16 p.m. to East Clark Street to a report of an intoxicated man who had barged through a door of a residence on Thursday. Officers spoke to the man and the caller and found that they had recently separated as a couple. The man was given a ride to the police station and was later picked up by a relative. The man was warned not to return to the home or he would be arrested for criminal trespass.

-- Michael Fowler, no age or address given, was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop on Thursday at 8:23 p.m. on West Clark Street. Fowler was also cited for traffic control device.

Columbiana

-- Officers provided unknown public assistance at 7:28 p.m. July 13 at Save-A-Lot in the 700 block of Fairfield Avenue.

-- Police arrested Kenneth Nezbeth, 45, of Cortland on a warrant at 8:47 p.m. July 12 at Mexico City, 121 Town Center Ave.

-- Lisa Andrews, 56, of Columbiana was cited for a suspended driver's license and stop sign violation after a crash at the intersection of West Friend and South Middle streets shortly after 1 p.m. July 12.

-- Spencer Murray, 20, of Akron was cited at 12:39 a.m. July 12 following a traffic stop near Pittsburgh and Elm streets.

-- Patrick J. Vitko, 42, of Columbiana was arrested at 11:43 p.m. July 11 on an active warrant through the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office and transported to the county jail without incident.

-- Erich W. Henkel, 40, of Salem was cited at 5:23 p.m. July 10 for driving under suspension and expired registration following a traffic stop on East Park Avenue.

-- Roy W. Foley, 65, of East Liverpool was cited at 4:07 p.m. July 10 for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on East Park Avenue.

-- William Castrucci, no age listed, of Leetonia was cited at 5:41 p.m. July 9 for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on West Park Avenue.

-- David R. Wales, 35, of Columbiana was cited at 4:01 a.m. July 9 for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on Heck Road.

-- A male at Wind Rose Apartments in Columbiana made a report of telecommunications harassment at 12:09 a.m. July 9.

-- Joshua Beery, 45, of Salem was cited at 10:13 p.m. July 9 for driving under suspension following a traffic stop near the intersection of state routes 14 and 46.

-- Kevin Yuhas, 55, of Poland was cited at 12:27 p.m. July 7 for driving under suspension and fictitious plates following a

traffic stop on North Main Street.

Perry Township

-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Shamrock Arbor Drive at 2:28 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a suspicious person. The caller advised that a man asked to clean his house windows but did not have any business markings on his person or vehicle. Officers took a report and searched the area but were unable to locate the man.

-- Officers responded to the 400 block of West Pidgeon Road at 6:34 a.m. Wednesday for a wellness check. Officers attempted contact with the residence but were unsuccessful.

-- Officers responded with the fire department to the 1000 block of Andrew Avenue at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday for a report of wires down. Officers and firefighters found the lines to be non-electric cable lines and the fire department advised the residents to call the cable company.

-- Officers on patrol in the 300 block of north Indiana Boulevard found an elderly resident who had fallen on his front patio. Officers assisted the man back into his home and offered to contact EMT to evaluate him, but aid was refused.

-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of West State Street at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a missing juvenile. The caller advised that he received a tip that a missing juvenile was staying at the residence with his brother. Officers attempted contact at the residence unsuccessfully, and the upstairs neighbor advised the resident's vehicle was not there and they did not know them.

-- Officers responded to the area of Painter Road and Egypt Road at 1:24 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a tree down blocking the roadway. Officers provided traffic control while the fire department removed the tree.

Salem

-- Officers responded to the 700 block of East Fifth Street at 4:41 a.m. Thursday for a reported noise complaint. When officers arrived, the involved parties had already gone inside, and officers advised them of the complaint

-- Officers responded to the 200 block of Vine Avenue at 2:11 a.m. Thursday for a reported medical call. The caller advised that he needed medical help and wanted to go to the hospital and that a few days ago he was self-harming and needed help. EMT transported the man to St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

-- Officers responded to the 600 block of Vine Avenue at 12:08 a.m. Thursday for a report of suspicious activity. The caller advised that while house sitting for a friend, someone jiggled the door handle to the residence. The man did not see anyone in the area when he left. Officers checked around the apartment but did not locate anyone.

-- Danielle Doughty, no age or address listed, turned herself in for an active warrant at the police department at 9:32 p.m. Wednesday. Doughty was transported to the Columbiana County Jail.

-- Officers responded to the 300 block of North Madison Avenue at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday for a noise complaint. When officers arrived, nobody was located in the area and no loud sounds were heard.

-- Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of East State Street at 8 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a vehicle with two juveniles not in car seats. The vehicle was gone before the officers arrived.

-- Officers responded to the 1600 block of Fairview Avenue at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday for a reported dispute. Officers spoke with the parties involved and found no threats were made and nothing physical occurred. Both parties were separated without incident.

-- Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 8:13 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a vehicle with a dog inside it. The vehicle left prior to officers' arrival.

-- Officers responded to the 1300 block of Eastview Drive at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday for a speak with officer complaint. The caller was concerned about her juvenile nephew from Louisiana. Officers advised the caller that the issue was civil in nature.

-- Officers responded to the 300 block of West Fifth Street at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday for a report of harassment. She advised that a person has been calling her vulgar names and yelling insults toward her while she was at work. Officers advised her that he was not doing anything illegal and that she would have to take the matter up with her employer.

-- Officers responded to the area of Park Avenue and Oak Street at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a tree limb down in the roadway. Officers provided traffic control until the street department removed the limb from the roadway.
