-- Deputies responded at 8:30 a.m. Saturday to Madison Drive, Fairfield Township for a request for assistance regarding a Fairfield Township man experiencing a mental health crisis reported by his family members. He was eventually transported to St. Elizabeth main by family and friends for an evaluation.
-- A deputy on patrol at 2:03 a.m. Saturday located a vehicle running in the lot at the Rogers Sale and Auction on state Route 154, Rogers. The vehicle was approached and two people were identified and checked for warrants, with none found.
-- A noise complaint was reported at 12:32 a.m. Saturday on Carmel Achor Road, Middleton Township, where a deputy could hear loud music coming from the rear of the residence. The resident was identified and told to turn down the music and warned that since deputies had been there on multiple occasions and warned him, the next step would be a citation. He said he understood. The caller was advised also and wanted to make sure action was taken in the future. The caller was advised the sheriff's office would do what's legally possible to handle the situation.
-- A fireworks complaint was checked on at 12:27 a.m. Saturday on Bayard Road, Knox Township, but nothing was found.
-- At 8:37 p.m. Friday, deputies and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to Lake Point Drive, Knox Township, regarding a domestic dispute between live-in partners. The male left before law enforcement arrived. The female advised no threats of violence or physical altercation occurred between them. She said she just wanted to grab her stuff and leave. Deputies stood by until she had all of her stuff out of the residence.
-- Deputies at 8:03 p.m. Friday were checking into a trespass complaint on state Route 39, Washington Township, for a resident who said a relative who lives next door was on his porch and he felt like she trespassed. Contact was attempted, but was not made. A message was left for the caller, who had not called back at the time of the report.
-- A civil matter over an eviction was reported at 5:23 p.m. Friday on Crestview Road, Fairfield Township, but the property owner said the male left and she was able to change the locks. No response was necessary.
-- Deputies were dispatched at 5:02 p.m. Friday to a home on state Route 172, Hanover Township, to assist Carroll County Child Protective Services with the removal of two juveniles. The CPS agent said she saw the two children go into the residence. Deputies attempted to knock on the door multiple times with no reply. The on-call prosecutor was notified and given the contact information for Carroll County's prosecutor regarding the incident. With no contact made with anyone, deputies cleared the call.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 11:54 p.m. Thursday to Rogers Food & Fuel, Depot Street, Rogers, for a report of someone yelling. No one was found.
-- An assault was reported at 2:19 p.m. Thursday on Rose Drive, Center Township, where a woman said her ex-boyfriend showed up and started acting like he was going to punch her to watch her flinch and then laughed at her flinching. He was told several times to leave but wouldn't and said she needed to give him gas money so he could get gas to make it home, but she told him no and to leave again. He then punched her in the nose and she told him to leave and he left. She signed a refusal to prosecute and was told if he comes back, to lock the door and call 911. She spoke with management of the apartment complex and they agreed to issue a no trespass order on the man.
-- A motion alarm was reported at 4:06 a.m. June 26 at Family Dollar, state Route 172, Hanover Township, but the business was checked and confirmed secure.
-- A suspicious male was reported smoking in a caller's back yard on Rock Camp Road, Madison Township, at 11:55 p.m. June 24. The area was checked, but no male was found and deputies saw no evidence of tampering with anything on the property.
