-- Officers responded to the 600 block of Arch Street at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday for a loud music complaint. The source of the noise was found to be coming from the backyard of a residence in the 800 block of Newgarden Avenue. Officers located an intoxicated man on his property having a small fire with music playing. The man was advised of the complaint and agreed to turn the music down.
-- Officers on patrol in the 700 block of West State Street at 12:51 a.m. Wednesday observed a woman known to have an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office driving a black vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and spoke with the woman, Heidi Hostetter, 43, taking her into custody and confirming the warrant. Hostetter was also found to have a suspended driver's license and contraband was located. Officers transported Hostetter to the Columbiana County Jail and issued a citation for driving under suspension. Additional charges are pending BCI results.
-- Officers responded to the 2200 block of East State Street at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday for a wellness check on a man reported to be punching air. Officers found it to be a man that they were "more than familiar with," and that "he was acting his normal self." Officers sent him on his way.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 9:01 p.m. Tuesday for a dispute. Officers spoke with all parties involved and found the dispute to be verbal only and the parties separated for the night.
