-- Officers spoke to a female at an Echo Dell Drive residence on June 4 at 12:17 a.m. who told them they she was arguing with her boyfriend, and he said if she called the cops, he would get her. The boyfriend had left before the officers arrived and was not located. Officers gave the female resources to call and get herself a place to stay.
-- Officers responded to an address on Rankin Street on June 5 at 9:43 p.m. for a male that other officers had dealt with earlier in the day. The male was in an altercation with a Liverpool Township officer and was transported to the hospital, exhibiting signs of drug use. He was apparently treated, released and returned home. Officers received another call regarding the man and responded again with medical personnel and convinced him to return to the hospital. He was transported by Northstar. Approximately 20 minutes later officers received word he was released again.
-- Officers responded to Dollar Tree where two vehicles had been struck in the parking lot. The driver that hit the two vehicles left the scene. A witness followed the vehicle. The driver who struck the vehicles was found to be having a medical issue.
-- Robert Bowyer, 55, Moore Road, was taken into custody when officers arrived at the residence searching for him due to an outstanding warrant. Bowyer told the officers that he had taken care of the warrant, and he was told he missed his court date and another warrant had been issued.
Salem
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of East School Street at 2:39 p.m. Thursday for a speak with officer complaint. The caller advised that an adult neighbor pushed his juvenile daughter when she went to get their dog off the neighbor's porch. Officers attempted contact at the residence but were unable to reach them. An investigation is pending.
-- Officers spoke with a person by phone at 1:40 p.m. Thursday regarding an incident with a serious injury to a juvenile. The matter is under investigation.
-- Officers responded to the area of Centennial Park at 1:08 p.m. Thursday for a report of two men with alcohol. Officers spoke with the men in question who denied having any alcohol with them and gave consent to search their property. A baggy of marijuana was found along with a pipe and a small bottle of alcohol. Officers advised them that they were not allowed to be drinking and using marijuana in a public park, the items were taken and destroyed, and they were advised to leave the park.
-- Officers spoke to a man at the police department at 11:02 a.m. Thursday for a report of assault. The man advised that several days prior he was hit in the nose and on the hand with a closed fist by an elderly woman that became irate toward him. Officers will make contact with the woman and advised her of the complaint. The matter will be forwarded to the prosecutor's office for review.
