-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Plymouth Place at 11:06 p.m. Sunday for a report of a suspicious man banging on the door. Officers arrived and spoke with all parties involved and were advised it was the caller's son and everything was okay.
-- Luanne Felgar, 64, Beloit, was cited for failure to yield after her vehicle failed to yield from a private drive and struck a vehicle driven by David Hardesty, 60, Salem on East Pidgeon Road at 3:50 p.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported.
-- Officers responded to the area of U.S. Route 62 and state Route 45 for a report of a vehicle parked off the end of the roadway. Officers spoke with the occupants and were advised they were stargazing.
-- Officers responded with the fire department and EMT to the 800 block of Cunningham Road at 10:58 a.m. Saturday for a medical call. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
-- Officers responded to the area of West State Street and Lundy Avenue at 1:05 a.m. Saturday for a report of a vehicle that had not stopped for Salem officers. Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped and it was determined the driver was having a medical emergency. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of 14th Street at 5:40 a.m. Friday for a noise complaint. Officers were already in the area due to ongoing complaints and officers advised that no violations occurred, and the involved parties were given a copy of the noise ordinance.
-- Officers responded to the 800 block of Stewart Road at 7:15 p.m. Thursday for a reported neighbor complaint. The caller advised that his neighbor has been shooting a BB gun toward his house and has shot his house multiple times. Officers spoke with the neighbor and warned her about safe handling and shooting of the BB gun and the potential criminal charges for damaging property.
-- Officers responded to the 1600 block of State Boulevard at 3 p.m. Thursday for a report of vandalism and breaking and entering. The caller advised that a shed on his property was broken into, and the building was spray painted.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of 14th Street at 6:24 a.m. Thursday for a noise complaint. The caller advised his neighbor starts up his vehicle and it wakes them up prior to 7 a.m., violating the noise ordinance. Officers advised they would look into the matter.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Pembrook Drive at 10:44 p.m. June 19 for a group of suspicious people. Officers were unable to locate the people in question and the caller advised that they had left prior to their arrival.
-- Officers responded to the 12000 block of Sharon Lynn Drive at 8:20 p.m. June 17 to assist Goshen Township officers with an incident involving out of control juveniles. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
-- Officers responded to the 1800 block of Depot Road at 8:18 p.m. June 16 for reports of two dogs living in a van in the driveway. The Columbiana County Humane Society responded and obtained temporary custody of both dogs.
-- Officers on patrol in the area of Garfield Road and state Route 14 conducted a random registration check on a vehicle at 4:45 p.m. finding the owner to be suspended. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Earl Breese IV, Warren, who advised officers he was suspended and did not have a license. Officers contacted Sinsley's towing to retrieve the vehicle and attempted to have Breese step out of the car, and Breese then fled the traffic stop leading officers on a high-speed pursuit down Garfield Road before turning onto South Duck Creek Road where he eventually stopped the vehicle. Officers ordered Breese and the passenger out of the vehicle and placed him under arrest charged with failure to comply, obstruction of official business, and driving under suspension.
