-- Officers responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue and Snyder Road at 11:54 p.m. Friday for a report of a possibly intoxicated man walking in the roadway on South Lincoln Avenue near Snyder Road. Officers located the man, whose name was not listed, and took him into custody.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Ansley Way at 12:57 p.m. Thursday for a report of an injured squirrel in the caller's yard. Officers were able to locate the injured squirrel and properly disposed of it.
-- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Depot Road at 9:20 p.m. June 13 for reports of a dog left in a vehicle. Officers spoke with the owner and advised them of the concerns for the animal's well-being. The owner removed the dog from the vehicle.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of Washington Avenue at 4 p.m. June 13 to assist the Columbiana County Drug Enforcement Task Force and Salem Police Department with a search warrant. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
-- Officers responded to the 1300 block of Pembrooke Drive at 7:49 p.m. June 12 for a reported dog bite. Officers advised the owner of the complaint, and the incident will be reported to the Columbiana Country dog warden.
-- Officers responded to the 1800 block of Depot Road at 9:39 a.m. June 11 for a 911 hang-up call. The homeowner advised that it was his small child that had an old on the phone and called accidentally. Officers found everything to be okay at the residence.
-- Officers spoke with a woman at the police department at 8:41 a.m. June 10 for a report of theft. The caller advised that she responded to an ad on Lisbon buy sell trade for Browns-Cowboy football tickets and paid for the tickets through Zelle but never received the email for the tickets from that person.
-- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Harding Avenue at 8:27 p.m. June 9 for a reported protection order violation. The caller and his wife advised that while she was outside the apartment the neighbor and subject of a protection order was heard yelling and calling her names. Officers spoke with the person who advised that he was on the phone and was not talking to his neighbors. Officers obtained written statements from all parties and spoke with an on-call prosecutor, and the matter is being sent to the prosecutor's office for review.
