Officers spoke with the juvenile, who didn't want to stay at their mother's residence and wanted to stay with their father. Officers advised both parents that the matter was civil and that they needed to contact their lawyers about the matter. The juvenile got out of the vehicle and went with their mother.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 1:29 p.m. Sunday for a report of a suspicious man walking on the sidewalk yelling at cars driving by. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the man in the area.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of East Pershing Street at 12:49 p.m. Sunday for a report of criminal damaging. Officers were advised that the previous night two juveniles were shoving each other and one of them got shoved into a vending machine causing damage to it. The matter is under investigation.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of Jennings Avenue at 12:23 p.m. Sunday for a report of harassment. The caller advised her father sent hateful text message to her and she wants him to stop texting her. Officers attempted to make contact unsuccessfully.
-- Alexander McCoy, 25, Salem, was cited for failure to yield after his vehicle struck a vehicle driven southbound on Franklin Avenue by Ronald Handy, 73, Salem, while backing out of a private drive at 8:29 a.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported.
-- Officers responded to the 1800 block of Fairview Court at 5:13 a.m. Sunday for a report of a prowler observed in the backyard near the caller's garage. Officers checked the area on foot but did not locate anyone. Officers also patrolled the surrounding area without anyone being observed.
-- Officers checked the area of Southeast Boulevard and South Madison Avenue at 4:39 a.m. Sunday for a report of a group of suspicious juveniles. Officers checked the area but did not locate them.
-- Officers responded to the area of South Lundy Avenue and East Euclid Street at 3:09 a.m. Sunday to assist highway patrol with a traffic crash investigation. Officers stood by until no longer needed.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of South Broadway Avenue at 2:34 a.m. Sunday for a reported fight. Officers located multiple people dispersing in the streets, due to the amount of people and their level of intoxication officers were unable to determine what occurred for certain. The two primarily involved parties did not want to cooperate with law enforcement and did not want to pursue the matter. The other parties were advised to respond to the police department at a later time if they wanted to pursue the incident legally. One person was transported to the Salem Regional Medical Center by EMT.

--Officers responded to the 700 block of West State Street at 12:11 a.m. Sunday for a report of a vehicle with both bumpers dragging on the roadway travelling westbound on State Street from Circle K. Officers checked the area but the vehicle had left prior to their arrival.
--Officers responded to the 700 block of East Fifth Street at 9:45 p.m. Saturday for a report of an unknown problem, which officers later learned was a domestic dispute. The caller advised that a man was at her residence threatening her boyfriend. Officers spoke with the caller's boyfriend who was upset because his friend was in a manic state and made threats of harming someone previously. Officers observed the man to be heavily intoxicated and also spoke with the caller who had just arrived home and advised that an argument between to two had occurred due to his alcohol consumption and that he broke their back door, but nothing physical had taken place. The person left the residence with his landlord.

Officers spoke with a man at the residence who advised that the mother was transported to a medical care facility a few days ago. He advised he would let the caller know
-- A bicycle recovered in the 700 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 4:54 p.m. Saturday was recovered and transported to the police department.
-- Officers responded to the area of East State Street and South Lincoln Avenue at 4:46 p.m. Saturday for a reported reckless operator. Officers were advised that the vehicle pulled into a driveway and parked prior to their arrival. Officers spoke with the caller who advised that since the vehicle was parked, he wanted nothing done.
-- Officers responded to the 2500 block of East State Street at 2:23 p.m. Saturday for a report of a missing juvenile. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the juvenile at a local business and was reunited with his mother.
-- Officers responded to the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 2:56 p.m. Saturday for an animal complaint. Officers located the vehicle in question with a dog laying in the back seat with both back windows open, and the dog did not appear to be in distress.

Officers spoke with the juvenile's mother who advised that her daughters had gotten into a verbal argument. Officers spoke with the juvenile who calmed down and advised everything was fine now.
-- Officers had the fire department respond to the 400 block of West State Street at 12:20 p.m. Saturday to pick up a bicycle left near the caller's yard. The bicycle was transported to the police department.
-- Officers responded to the area of Bentley Drive and Continental Drive at 12:32 p.m. Saturday to assist the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. A man was taken into custody and transported to the Salem Police Department for processing prior to transportation to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers on patrol in the 200 block of South Broadway Avenue at 11:44 a.m. Saturday were flagged down by individuals cleaning up the area and advised they found a Credit Karma debit card. The card was placed in the police department's lost and found.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Mullins Street at 11:17 a.m. Saturday to speak with the caller regarding a motorcycle they sold to a man. The caller advised the man he could drive the motorcycle home with his plate, but he needed the plate back. The caller contacted the man who purchased the motorcycle and asked about the plate and the man claimed an unknown person stole the plate off the motorcycle. The caller wanted a report on file.
