County Sheriff

— Deputies were advised at 2:09 a.m. Sunday by a man that his ex-girlfriend has been calling him multiple times throughout the day. He said he didn’t want charges pressed against her, but he wanted her warned not to contact him or return to the Center Township property on Miller Road. She was contacted and said she stayed there last Tuesday. She was warned not to contact him, but was advised everything was civil and he was contacted and advised the same.

— A caller at 6:20 p.m. Friday advised his brother broke into his house on Jimtown Road, Unity Township, to get some paperwork. He said his brother is moving into his place from Florida. He didn’t want to press charges. He just wanted a report on file.

— Deputies were dispatched at 3:42 p.m. Friday to U.S. Route 62 in Butler Township to assist Parma Police in reference to their investigation of a missing juvenile. The residents advised the juvenile had not lived there for four years. Deputies gained permission to check the residence, but had negative contact with the juvenile.

— Deputies were dispatched at 1:37 p.m. May 1 to England Drive, Unity Township, regarding a possible suicidal female. Contact was made with the female who said she was fine and hanging out with friends in Youngstown. The complainant was advised and insisted she was suicidal. Deputies looked at the text messages between the complainant and the female and was unable to observe any message that indicated the female was going to commit suicide. The complainant was told deputies would contact Youngstown Police and the surrounding area to check her welfare if they see her.

Columbiana

— Kirk Leek, 48, Salem, was cited for driving to reinstate during a traffic stop on state Route 14 at 11:23 p.m. on Friday.

— Officers respond to a private property accident on Heck Road at 11:12 a.m. on Thursday.

— Clinton Scott, 46, Columbiana, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on West Park Avenue at 3:54 p.m. on Thursday. Barbra Scott, 65, Columbiana, was also cited for wrongful entrustment.

— Steven Faulkner, 39, Columbiana, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on North Main Street at 12:05 a.m. on Thursday.

— A woman came to the station at 10:53 a.m. to make a report on advice of her attorney on Wednesday.

— Officers responded at 12:28 a.m. on Wednesday to a report of assault in progress on Wind Rose Court. An arrest warrant was issued for Sara Rickman, no age or address provided.

— Giavone Gutierrez, Poland, no age given, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 7 at 3:46 p.m. on Tuesday.

— A man came to the station to report a theft at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

— Darius Smith, Youngstown, no age given, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 7 at 6:01 p.m. on April 30.

— Officers responded to West Woodland Drive to a trespass complaint at 8:08 p.m. on April 28.

— William Cunning, 46, East Palestine, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on South Vine Street at 6:51 p.m. on April 28.

— Officers responded at 10:50 a.m. to a domestic dispute on Town Square Boulevard on April 28.

Salem

— Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 12:54 p.m. Monday for a reported animal complaint. The caller advised that two dogs were inside a vehicle and panting. The vehicle left the area prior to officers’ arrival.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of Continental Drive at 12:21 p.m. Monday for a report of credit card fraud. The caller advised that a resident at their facility had their debit card stolen and it was used at multiple stores in the area totaling $186. Officers advised a police report would be made.

— Officers responded to the area of East State Street at 11:30 a.m. Monday to provide traffic control while the city electrician performed maintenance on the traffic signals.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of West School Street at 10:59 a.m. Monday for a report of a suspicious person walking around looking in windows at the residence. Officers checked the residence which was secure. Officers checked the area but did not locate anyone matching the description given.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of North Cunningham Road at 9:16 a.m. Monday for wellness check. The caller advised there were multiple people resembling police in the area. Officers spoke with the individuals who were identified as licensed bounty hunters looking for someone with a warrant that had skipped on bail.
