--Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday that advised a juvenile had attempted to open the door to her house. Camera footage was reviewed by officers, but they were unable to identify the subject. Officers advised the woman to contact the police department if the juvenile returns.
--Officers responded to the 1300 block of West State Street at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday to assist Perry Township Officers with a possible domestic. Officers stood by during the investigation.
--Officers spoke to a person by phone at 4:02 p.m. Wednesday for a reported theft. Officers found that a possible theft had occurred outside of the city, and she was directed to the proper authorities.
--Officers on patrol in the area of North Ellsworth Avenue and East Eighth Street at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday and during the stop the driver was found in possession of contraband. The driver was given a warning for the traffic violation and the contraband was destroyed at the police department after being photographed.
--Officers spoke with a person by phone at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday regarding a possible scam. The caller advised that a man had called claiming they were going to shut their electricity off unless they paid a bill, and that when they contacted Ohio Edison, they advised it was not them calling. The caller advised that no information was given to the person on the phone buy they wanted a report on file.
--Officers responded to the 2200 block of Monroe Street at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday for a 911-hang-up-call. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the source of the call.
--Officers responded to the area of East State Street and South Union Avenue at 1:32 p.m. Tuesday for a report of construction cones in the middle of the roadway. The company working in the area was removing the cones when officers arrived.
--Officers responded to the 800 block of Aetna Street at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday for a reported parking complaint. Officers did not observe any parking violation.
--A license plate found in Sharp Avenue was turned into the police department at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday. The owner was contacted and advised he would come pick it up.
--Officers spoke with a person from St. Elizabeth's Hospital by phone at 10:13 a.m. Tuesday who advised that a 15-year-old female gave birth to a male child and the father is an adult. Information for the report was obtained and the matter will be investigated.
--Officers responded to the 1800 block of Depot Road at 9:13 a.m. Tuesday to assist the Drug Enforcement task Force with a search warrant. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
--Officers responded to the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday for a reported juvenile problem. Officers stood by until they were no longer needed.
