— A temporary stop sign had to be installed by the street department at the intersection of Jefferson and East Washington Streets after a vehicle slid into the sign at 10:18 p.m. Friday. The driver said their vehicle slid because of excessive snowfall.

— An officer assisted the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control after a crash in the area of state Route 45 near Lisbon Road at 9:10 p.m. Friday.

— A man drove over a sidewalk and curb lawn to park next to a house in the 200 block of West Washington Street at 2:20 p.m. Feb. 15 after being told by Chief Mike Abraham not to do so. The man was issued a parking ticket and told he would receive a traffic ticket if he does it again.

— An officer observed a tractor-trailer with its hazard lights on near the intersection of West Lincoln Way and Blocksom Street at 9:04 p.m. Feb. 12. The driver of the tractor-trailer said everything was fine.

— An officer was dispatched to check on a residential motion alarm in the 400 block of West Washington Street at 8:56 p.m. Feb. 12. The officer checked the residence and found everything to be secure.

— Police responded to Shenanigans Pub on South Jefferson Street at 3:32 a.m. Feb. 11 for a 911 hang-up call. Three people in the building said it was an accidental call.

— Police responded to the Apple Grove Homes apartments on Saltwell Road for a reported disturbance at 12:46 a.m. Feb. 6. The disturbance was determined to have been a verbal argument and the scene was cleared without further involvement.

— An officer on routine patrol found a disabled vehicle on state Route 154 near BP at 8:12 p.m. Feb. 4. The officer was told by the vehicle occupants that no assistance was needed.
