— A deputy responded at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday to the Negley area, state Route 154, to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a crash investigation, going with a trooper to the residence of a person who may have been involved in the crash. It was determined the person was not involved.
— A possible prowler was reported at 4:21 a.m. Saturday on Maple Hill Road, Salineville, where deputies checked around the residence and found no evidence of anyone being around. The caller reported hearing voices near the residence, but no one was located.
— A deputy responded at 2:49 a.m. Saturday to a Rochester Road residence in West Township for a welfare check on an elderly person who had called and appeared confused. The grandson of the caller answered the door and allowed the deputy to check on the caller, who was still on the phone with dispatch. It was confirmed the person was fine and he said he did not need any medical attention. The grandson had helped him and then went upstairs and fell asleep and didn’t hear him called for further assistance.
— A disturbance was reported at 6:53 a.m. Feb. 2 at a Tower Road property, Butler Township. The caller at the residence advised the person had left and they didn’t want to cooperate with deputies. Information was gathered and a refusal to cooperate was signed by a person on scene.
— Deputies and Perry Township police responded at 4:48 a.m. Jan. 31 to the area of Cunningham Road and Shining Tree Lane for a missing adult male. The person was located and transported to the hospital by family due to exposure.
