– Sandra K. Barnard, 67, Salem was cited for a red light violation following a two-vehicle crash at East State Street and South Broadway Avenue at 12:21 p.m. Friday in which she was eastbound and allegedly ran the red light, striking a southbound vehicle driven by Kenneth L. Deal, 76, Salem. No injuries were reported.

– Officers responded to a 1400 block East State Street business at 12:02 p.m. Friday in reference to a juvenile employee who had taken money out of the register. Officers reviewed video of the incident and observed the juvenile take money out of the register and put it into his pocket. The juvenile, who was not identified in the report, was placed under arrest and released to a guardian.

– Officers responded to the 1200 block of Mound Street at 9:26 a.m. Friday in reference to a dispute and found a family engaged in a verbal argument over personal matters. Everyone involved agreed to separate to allow the situation to calm down.
