-- Officers responded to Blossom Nursing Home at 11:28 a.m. Saturday to take a report of an incident between two residents. The director of nursing advised that two residents with dementia were in the hallway together when the man mistook the woman for his deceased wife, and grabbed the woman by the arms and began to shake her asking why she left him. Staff were able to separate the two parties, and the director of nursing spoke with the responsible parties of both residents who declined to pursue charges due to the mental state of both patients.
-- Officers responded to the 1900 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 9:53 p.m. Friday for a report of a suspicious man moving items out of the back of a church. Officers spoke with the man, who advised that he was moving items out because the church was closing down.
-- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street at 1:43 p.m. Friday to assist the Columbiana County Drug Enforcement Task Force in executing a search warrant.
-- Officers responded to the 400 block of Plymouth Place at 5:56 a.m. Friday for a wellness check on an elderly woman who repeatedly called 911 about her furnace. Officers ensured the caller's heat was working and the caller was in good health.
-- Officers responded to the 300 block of West Pine Lake Road at 4:11 a.m. Friday to assist Columbiana County Sheriff's Office deputies execute an arrest for an incident that occurred earlier in the night in Lisbon. Deputies and officers spoke with Justin Davis, 39, Salem, who was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Columbiana County Jail by deputies.
-- Officers responded to the area of Cunningham Road near state Route 344 at 7:43 p.m. Thursday for a report of a suspicious person on a bike. Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate anyone.
-- Officers responded to the 1100 block of the Prospect Street Extension to assist the Columbiana County Drug Enforcement Task Force in serving a felony warrant. The homeowner confirmed the wanted person, Steve Colian, 44, Salem, was in the basement of the house. Officers were unable to locate Colian and Alisha Phillips, 22, Salem, informed officers that he was not in the basement. After ordering Colian to come out from hiding officers located him in a hidden crawlspace. Colian was placed under arrest for the felony warrants as well as obstructing official business. Phillips was arrested for felony obstructing justice. Both subjects were transported to the Columbiana County jail.
