Perry Township

— Officers responded to the area of Snyder Road near Depot Road at 6:04 p.m. Saturday for a wellness check on two people walking on the side of the roadway. Officers ensured they didn’t need any assistance.

— Officers on patrol in the 400 block of Georgetown Road at 12:21 a.m. Saturday located a suspicious vehicle. Officers found the vehicle to be unoccupied and secured.

— Officers responded to the area of state Route 344 near Cunningham Road at 10:57 p.m. Friday for a report of a man in dark clothing walking along the roadway. Officers spoke with the man and provided him with a transport to a nearby residence.

— Jarrod Sturgeon, 42, Salem, was cited for failure to control after his vehicle went off the west side of the roadway, striking a fire hydrant and street sign at 7:42 a.m. Friday. No injuries were reported.

— Officers responded to the 1600 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 10:18 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a reckless operator. Officers checked the area and stood by in the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton Road at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an unruly juvenile. The caller advised that her 11-year-old daughter was acting up and yelling and screaming and wouldn’t listen. Officers spoke with the juvenile, advising them of the consequences of their actions and they advised that they would listen to their parents.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton Road at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday for reports of an attempted breaking and entering. Officers spoke to all parties involved and found no criminal activity.

— Officers responded to the 1800 block of Cider Mill Road at 11:15 a.m. Dec. 25 for a wellness check. Officers spoke with the homeowner who advised they were okay and did not need any assistance at the time.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Depot Road at 6:25 p.m. Dec. 24 for a medical call. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
