— Bobbie Doss, 44, Lisbon, who was cited for a vehicle equipment violation and a suspended license, was found to have an active warrant during a traffic stop on state Route 45 at 7:05 p.m. Dec. 23. Doss was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.

— Officers responded to Mary’s Pizza for a report of a stray dog that looked to be in bad health at 9:34 p.m. Dec. 23. A family living on North Beaver Street helped find the dog and offered to house it for the night but was later confronted at their home by the alleged owner of the dog. The alleged owner was said to appear intoxicated and is alleged to have pushed a member of the family while trying to collar the dog. Another person with paperwork for the dog later showed up to the home but did not take the dog back. The case was under investigation.

— Police were called at 10:31 a.m. Dec. 9 regarding an alleged assault that took place at Shenanigans Pub on South Jefferson Street the night before, on Dec. 8.
