Highway Patrol
— Georgia Matz, 24, Bayard Street, Homeworth, was cited for left of center after the vehicle she was driving crossed the center line while traveling southbound on Homeworth Road in Knox Township at 5:18 p.m. Jan. 20, and collided head-on with another vehicle driven by Morgan Hale, 21, Alliance. Hale reported bruising, swelling to the stomach and legs, and a sore neck, but was not transported.
— Lucas Barber, 16, Petersburg, was cited for reasonable control after the southbound vehicle he was driving went off of the left side of Scroggs Road in Elkrun Township while negotiating a curve, striking a cluster of trees, at 4:59 p.m. Jan. 20.
— Connie Moracco, 63, Carey Road, Salem, was cited for reasonable control after she drove her westbound vehicle off of the right side of Georgetown Road in Butler Township at 4:33 p.m. Jan. 20, striking a ditch.
— A hit-skip involving a parked tow truck owned by Marlboro Towing occurred at 7:04 p.m. Jan. 19 on state Route 558 in Salem Township. A blue or grey Ford F-250 or F-350 was purported to have been traveling southeastbound, crossing the center line and striking the tow truck without stopping.
— Konnor Buckius, 20, South Union Avenue, Salem, was cited for reasonable control after the northwestbound vehicle he was driving lost control and traveled off of the left side of state Route 644 in Franklin Township at 3:31 p.m. Jan. 19 and struck a ditch.
— Anna Anderson, 65, Stewart Road, Salem, was cited for reasonable control when she drove her eastbound vehicle off of the left side of Georgetown Road in Knox Township at 7:05 p.m. Jan. 17, losing control and then driving off of the right side of the road, striking an embankment.
— Kelly Kronmiller, 32, Main Street, Kensington, was cited for reasonable control when she drove her northbound vehicle off of the right side of Sprucevale Road in Middleton Township at 5:46 p.m. Jan. 16, striking a utility pole.
— Aaron Duncan, 29, Haiti Road, Salineville, was cited for assured clear distance when the vehicle he was driving struck a car in front of him that had stopped to make a left-hand turn off of state Route 39 in Salineville at 3:08 p.m. Jan. 16. The driver of the turning vehicle, Kathy Looman, 69, Maple Hill Road, Salineville, suffered suspected minor injuries but was not transported.
— Rachelle Smith, 41, state Route 558, New Waterford, was cited for failure to yield after she failed to yield at a stop sign while driving eastbound on state route 558 in Salem Township at 5:31 p.m. Jan. 15, striking another vehicle driven by Katrina Booher, 36, Pearl Street, Leetonia, leaving the left side of the road and coming to a stop. Booher had two passengers in the car, one of whom, Gail Burgy, 76, St. Clairsville, was transported by Leetonia EMS to Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
— Thomas Eastek, 18, Lisbon Canfield Road, Leetonia, was cited for reasonable control after the vehicle he was driving eastbound traveled off of Lodge Road in Salem Township, striking a utility pole at 3:39 p.m. Jan. 14.
— Susan Crow, 44, Avondale Street, East Liverpool, was cited for reasonable control when the vehicle she was driving northbound on U.S. Route 30 in East Liverpool left the road, striking a concrete median wall twice at 11:43 a.m. Jan. 13.
— Timothy Jones, 29, Teegarden Road, Lisbon, was cited for reasonable control after the vehicle he was driving southbound on Depot Road in Salem Township went off of the side of the road into a ditch at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 12.
— Steven Peddicord, 34, St. Jacobs Logtown Road, Lisbon, was traveling southbound on Lisbon Road in Lisbon when a utility pole fell and struck his car at 3:33 p.m. Jan. 12, causing damage to the hood, left front fender, and left side mirror.
— A hit-skip occurred when a Crestview Local School District bus driven by Nicole Van Horn, 32, Metz Road, New Waterford, was struck on the driver’s side by a white International Box MA025 box truck owned by Prey Transportation LLC that passed the stopped bus on state Route 164 in Fairfield Township at 8:06 a.m. Jan. 4. Patrol is investigating who the driver of the truck was at the time of the crash.
— Jose Lemus Zelaya, 40, Canton, was cited for reasonable control and driving under suspension after his westbound vehicle went off of the right side of state Route 172 in West Township at 5:15 a.m. Jan. 4, striking a ditch and a bush.
— A hit-skip occurred when an unknown vehicle was driven off of Homeworth Road in Knox Township while traveling southeastbound, striking a utility pole and cutting power to a residence at 4 a.m. Jan. 7. A black mirror piece and silver running board from a possible pick-up truck was left at the scene.
— Jonathan Diegdio, 21, Louise Avenue, East Liverpool, was cited for reasonable control when the northbound vehicle he was driving traveled off of the right side of state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 9, striking an embankment and overturning before stopping on its roof. No injuries were reported.
— Erin Pusateri, 42, Woodville Road, Leetonia, struck a cow with the vehicle she was driving on state Route 558 at 7:26 p.m. Jan. 3. The angus cow, worth approximately $1,500, died. The vehicle was driven from the scene with functional damage to the front.
— Wisal Al-Sabeelah, 45, Lake Street, Beloit, was cited for reasonable control after she made a right turn onto Westville Lake Road in Knox Township at 3:22 p.m. Jan. 4, driving off of the right side of the road, striking two fence posts and a utility pole.
— Alexa May, 21, Applegate Road, Lisbon, was cited for failure to yield after she pulled out of a private driveway onto state Route 45, failing to yield and striking a vehicle driven northwest by Michelle Shockley, 67, Gladys Avenue, East Liverpool, at 7:16 p.m. Dec. 31.
— Heather Parker, 36, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was cited for reasonable control after her westbound vehicle traveled off of the right side of state Route 154 in Elkrun Township at 4:35 p.m. Dec. 30, before going back onto the road, off of the left side, and striking a guardrail twice.
— John Zoellers, 55, Mick Road, Wellsville, was cited for reasonable control and seat belt after his northbound vehicle drove off of the right side of Elkton Road in Elkrun Township, striking a ditch, reentering the road, and driving off of the left side, striking a tree, at 3:05 p.m. Dec. 29.
