– Wilson Allen Smith, 87, East Liverpool, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a three-vehicle crash on the Newell toll bridge at 11:07 a.m. Dec. 14 in which he was northbound and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by John Marcus Sprout, 69, Chester, shoving it into a vehicle driven by Megan Marie Trevor, 30, New Cumberland, who had stopped to pay the toll. No injuries were reported.
