— Officers responded to the 700 block of West State Street at 1:31 p.m. Sunday for a report of someone riding a four-wheeler in the roadway. Officers spoke with an employee of the business who advised they hadn’t seen anything. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate it.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of East Third Street at 10:10 p.m. Sunday for a reported juvenile problem. The caller advised that her juvenile daughter was in a vehicle on the roadway in front of their home with her boyfriend and that her daughter was refusing to come inside. After discussion with the daughter and boyfriend the daughter went inside her home.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of Franklin Avenue at 8:48 p.m. Sunday for a reported water line break. The break was confirmed and the water department was notified.

— Officers responded to a business in the 700 block of West State Street at 8:49 p.m. Sunday for a reported assault. The caller advised a known customer came to the business and got a drink from the fountain and then threw the drink on them. Officers were able to locate the person, whose name was not listed, a short while later, collecting statements from all involved parties. The matter will be sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 7:55 p.m. Sunday for a report of a juvenile calling 911 claiming he sees demons. Officers spoke with the juvenile and his parents, finding everything to be okay.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Fourth Street at 5:59 p.m. Sunday for a reported hit and skip. Officers observed a telephone pole which had been hit by a vehicle which fled the scene. The caller advised the vehicle was an orange dodge hatch back. The fire department responded and taped off the alley way, and Ohio Edison was notified.

— Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 3:35 p.m. Sunday about a juvenile problem. Officers advised the woman of her options.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of East Third Street at 2:54 p.m. Sunday for a wellness check. The caller advised they were unable to make contact with the homeowner during a delivery and were concerned. Officers spoke with the resident who advised he fell asleep.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of South Union Avenue at 2:24 p.m. Sunday for a report of someone shooting a bow. Officers spoke with the resident about the city ordinances.

— Officers spoke to a man at the police department at 9:10 a.m. Sunday for a report of money missing from his account. The caller advised that he still lives in the same residence as his wife, but has filed for divorce, and believes that his wife removed the money from the account. Officers explained that due to them being married the issue would be civil and to contact his attorney.

— Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 9:01 a.m. Sunday for a third-party assault report. The caller advised that while he was sitting in the parking lot, he heard a man and woman in a vehicle arguing and then heard what sounded like a smack and the woman exited the vehicle. The woman advised she and her boyfriend had been in a verbal argument over relationship issues and nothing physical had occurred. No injuries were observed, and the woman left the area with a friend.

— Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 12:48 a.m. Sunday for a reported assault. The caller advised he was at a fire at his friend’s house when three men he did not know assaulted him. Officers responded to the house where the incident took place and spoke to several individuals. Charges are pending.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of West School Street at 10:32 p.m. Saturday for a wellness check. The caller advised that the woman that lives below them had been yelling stop for an hour. Officers eventually made contact with the woman in question who denied yelling. She invited officers into her residence and no other occupants or signs of an altercation were observed, and the woman advised that she had been drinking.

— Officers responded to the 2700 block of East State Street at 9:22 p.m. Saturday for a report of harassment. Officers spoke with a woman who had been screamed at by a man for allegedly parking close to his vehicle and had employees contact officers due to feeling unsafe. The man had already left the area prior to the officers’ arrival.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Highland Avenue at 6:28 p.m. Saturday to assist the Perry Township Police Department with a missing juvenile report. After officers arrived the juvenile was discovered by their parents.

— Officers responded to the Salem Regional Medical Center at 6:20 p.m. Saturday for a report of a possible juvenile overdose. Officers spoke with the mother and sister of the juvenile and the matter is under investigation.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of Woodland Avenue at 5:44 p.m. Saturday for a reported domestic dispute. Officers were advised that a male juvenile was upset and had made threats of self-harm. Due to the nature of the call, the juvenile was later transported to Akron Children’s Boardman.

— Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 5:22 p.m. Saturday for a report of possible identity theft. The caller advised that she believed someone acting like they worked for Spectrum had contacted her about lowering her bill, and the woman provided her social security number but no other information. Money was removed from her bank account, and she received a phone in the mail. Officers advised her to check her bank statement on Monday and contact Spectrum.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of North Madison Avenue at 4:55 p.m. Saturday for a burning complaint.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of East Fourth Street at 3:15 p.m. Saturday for a report of a distraught person. Officers located the person in question sitting in their vehicle, who advised that she was fine and that she was waiting on a friend.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of West Fifth Street at 11:23 p.m. Monday for a barking dog report. The dog was being brought inside when officers arrived.

— Officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Franklin Avenue at 9:29 p.m. Monday for a possible break in. The caller advised a man they did not know had opened the front door to the residence and left immediately. Officers located the man who denied the allegations. Officers advised the man not to return to the residence. The matter will be forwarded to the Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

— Officers responded to the area of South Broadway Avenue at 9:17 p.m. Monday for a report of a suspicious person. The caller advised that a man was heard yelling, possibly in an altercation with another person. Officers located the man finding him to be intoxicated and a sober person responded to pick the man up.

— Officers responded to the 2500 block of Lexington Avenue at 8:52 a.m. Monday for a wellness check. Officers spoke with the resident, advising them to contact the caller.
