— Officers responded to the 500 block of East School Street at 1:25 p.m. Friday for a reported domestic dispute. The caller advised that her sister physically assaulted her and scratched her neck, wrist and hand, and that she had left the residence while she was on the phone with officers. The caller requested charges be filed for domestic violence.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Fourth Street at 12:14 a.m. Friday for a report of a child left unattended at home. Officers spoke with two children, the oldest of which was in their early teens and babysitting their brother, who advised their father had just left to go to the store. The father returned while officers were talking to the children.
— Officers responded to the 1400 block of East State Street at 2:21 a.m. Friday to assist Perry Township officers in contacting a man. Officers were unable to make contact at the residence.
— Officers responded to a business in the 1800 block of East State Street at 10:37 p.m. Thursday for a report of harassment. The manager advised that a man in the parking lot was harassing one of the employees. Officers spoke with the man who advised that he was trying to get his kid from his ex who was working. Contact was made with the woman who agreed to allow the child to be picked up by the dad.
— Officers responded to the 1400 block of Maple Street at 6:54 p.m. Thursday for a speak with officer report. Officers spoke with the woman who appeared to be having a panic attack and requested the fire department and EMT to responded and evaluate the woman. The woman advised she was feeling better and denied further medical treatment.
— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 3:27 p.m. Thursday about obtaining a restraining/protection order. Officers advised the person of the process.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Third Street at 2:13 p.m. Thursday for a report of a suspicious person. Officers found the person in question to be intoxicated and unable to get into his residence. Officers got them into the residence and advised them to remain inside until they were sober.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Perry Street at 12:29 p.m. Thursday for a report of a possible domestic in progress. A witness advised that his female neighbor had come to his residence and advised her boyfriend was assaulting her and she wanted the police to be called before returning to her residence. Officers attempted contact at the residence in question with no response and due to the nature of the call began preparing to make entry into the residence when the woman came to the door, claiming nobody else was present and denied any dispute. Officers then announced again for anyone present to come to the door, observing a man in the residence who was brought outside. Officers placed the man, Dominic Stacey, 37, under arrest for obstruction and an outstanding warrant, and placed the woman, Amanda Ryan, 30, into custody for obstruction. Stacey was transported directly to the Columbiana County Jail, while Ryan was transported to the police department for processing and then transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street at 9:53 a.m. Thursday for a reported dispute. Officers spoke with one of the parties involved, determining the situation to be a verbal dispute over family issues with nothing physical.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Perry Street at 7:03 a.m. Thursday for a report of a possible domestic. Officers attempted contact at the residence but were unsuccessful. Officers spoke with the caller who advised they did not hear anything physical take place.
