Perry Township
— Officers responded to the 1800 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 10:48 p.m. Tuesday for a report of an unruly juvenile. Officers spoke with all parties involved and determined the matter to be civil in nature.
— Officers on patrol in the 1800 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday located a vehicle involved in a trespass complaint. Officers spoke with the driver, advising him that he would be trespassed from the property and not to return.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of Snyder Road at 11:12 p.m. Monday to follow up with a trespass complaint regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officers advised the person in question that they were trespassed and not to return to the property.
— Officers responded to the intersection of state Route 45 and West State Street at 9:23 p.m. Monday for a report of gunshots. While speaking with the caller in the 1200 block of West State Street officers observed fireworks being set off near the area of Florida and Cleveland avenues. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate anyone.
— Officers responded to the area of U.S. Route 62 near the Cherokee Rose Facility at 3:20 p.m. Monday for reports of a horse loose near the roadway. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the animal.
— Officers responded to the 1200 block of Pembrooke Drive at 2:59 p.m. Monday for a report of vehicle theft. The caller advised that she had allowed her son to use her vehicle on Friday and they agreed it would be returned Saturday. She said she has not heard from him since and he may be in Georgia. Officers took a report and charges are pending for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
— Officers responded to the 100 block of Georgetown Road at 6:41 a.m. Monday for a report of stolen keys. Officers were unable to locate the caller or vehicle.
— Officers on patrol in the 500 block of Snyder Road at 1:45 a.m. Monday observed a suspicious vehicle pulled to the back of a business lot. Officers found the vehicle to still be warm and searched the nearby area but were unable to locate the driver.
— Officers responded to the U.S. Route 52 at 10:37 p.m. Monday for a report of a reckless driver that had gone off the roadway then left the scene. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
— Officers responded to the 1800 block of Allen Drive at 2:15 p.m. Sunday for a report of dogs at large. Officers were able to locate and return the dogs to their owner, advising them that if a similar incident occurred again charges would be filed for animals at large.
— Officers responded to the 1800 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 11:12 a.m. Monday for a reported domestic dispute. Officers spoke with all parties involved, finding the altercation to have been verbal and over the grandchild of the caller who was reported missing to officers earlier in the day. Officers verified the grandson was in good health.
