Perry Township

— Officers responded to the 1800 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 7:21 a.m. Sunday for a reported runaway juvenile. Officers spoke with the family and a missing person report was filed.

— Officers responded to the 1300 block of Johnson Avenue at 9:07 p.m. Saturday for a report of teenage kids knocking on doors and fleeing. Officers patrolled the area and were able to locate a boy that matched the description given. The boy’s parents were notified, and the boy was warned of what could happen if this continued.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of Bethel Drive at 10:53 a.m. Saturday to assist Ohio State Highway Patrol with immobilizing a motor vehicle. Officers assisted until the vehicle was immobilized.

— Officers responded to the area of U.S. Route 62 and North Ellsworth Avenue at 2:54 a.m. Saturday for a report of a man in the roadway. Officers were told that the man’s partner had kicked him out of the vehicle without his phone to contact someone to get him. Officers gave the man a transport to a nearby location.

— Officers responded to state Route 14 near Egypt Road at 7:12 p.m. Friday to assist Salem officers with a traffic stop. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

— Officers responded to the 1800 block of Cliff Drive at 8:07 p.m. Friday for a report of dogs at large. Officers were unable to locate the dogs.

— Officers responded to the 1300 block of Andrew Avenue at 4:48 p.m. Friday for a report of a person in mental crisis. The caller advised that a patient was being combative toward caretakers. Officers de-escalated the situation and spoke with the patient who agreed to get evaluated. EMTs transported the patient to Alliance Community Hospital.

— Officers on patrol in the 1900 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 3:52 a.m. Friday located two suspicious vehicles. Officers checked the vehicles, finding them to be unoccupied. Officers also checked a nearby business, finding it to be secure.
