— Officers gave a female directions to Youngstown after she came to the department at 1:12 p.m. on Dec. 9 seeking them.

— Officers responded to a civil matter at 9:07 p.m. on Hillside Drive on Dec. 9.

— Micahela Pudder, no age or address provided, was arrested at 10:53 p.m. on Dec. 9 following a traffic stop on Park Avenue and charged with OVI. Pudder was also issued a citation for headlights.

— A resident brought a found item to the department on Dec. 9 at 11:38 p.m. after finding it near Sparkle Grocery on South Market Street.

— Officer assisted EMS to a call at the Circle K on North Market Street to a report of a juvenile having seizures at 9:58 p.m. on Dec. 7. Officers found the juvenile to be experiencing an overdose and the juvenile was transported to the hospital by EMS. The vehicle the juvenile was in was searched and contraband found. The case has been forwarded to the Columbiana County Juvenile Court.

— Officers responded at 2:31 p.m. to the 800 block of West North Avenue to a report of a suspicious person on Dec. 7. No unusual activity was observed in the area.

— Officer responded at 5:36 p.m. on Dec. 7 to a complaint of a vehicle being operated erratically on South Market Street. The vehicle was unable to be located.

— Officers responded at a domestic violence call at 10:05 p.m. on Wood Street on Dec. 5. No arrests were made.

— Officers spoke to a female on Park Avenue at 2:03 p.m. on Dec. 4 regarding the father of her juvenile son allegedly stealing the son’s birth certificate while visiting her home.

— Officers responded at 8:02 a.m. to a business on North Market Street on Dec. 3 about a vehicle that had been left on the property with the keys still inside. The keys were removed from the vehicle and the owner contacted.

— Officers responded to East Clark Street at 6:19 p.m. on Dec. 3 to a report of a domestic disturbance.

— Officers responded at 9:17 p.m. to a noise complaint on Park Avenue on Dec. 3.

— Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on Wood Street at 12:09 a.m. on Dec. 4.

— Officers assisted a resident on West Garnet Street with their smoke alarm at 2:34 a.m. on Dec. 4.

— Officers responded at 7:47 a.m. to West Clark Street to a report of criminal damaging after two vehicles at the residence were found with their gas doors opened. At the scene, officers concluded a large tree branch had fallen between two vehicles and caused the doors to open.

— The East Palestine school resource officer checked on a student at 8:12 a.m. on Dec. 4 after reports the student refused to go to school.

— Officers spoke to a female in West Martin Street regarding a telecommunications harassment complaint at 9:07 a.m. on Dec. 4. The female advised she received threats from unknown phone numbers and through social media.
