— Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Wilbert Avenue on Dec. 1 at 3:53 a.m. for a noise complaint. Officers located music coming from a residence and advised the resident to turn it down.
— An officer spoke to a female by phone on Dec. 1 at 9:33 p.m. who wanted to report her mother’s purse stolen from Valley Oaks Nursing Home. The caller later reported the purse was returned but was missing money and medication.
— Officers responded on Dec. 1 at 12:06 p.m. to a dirt bike complaint on Riley Avenue. The officer observed the dirt bike traveling south on Avondale Street and attempted to stop it. When the rider fled on Fawcet Street, the officer terminated the pursuit due to the safety of the rider.
— An officer conducted at traffic stop on Dec. 1 at 4:58 a.m. on Mulberry Street and gave the driver a verbal warning. No other information provided
— An officer working as a school resource officer at East Liverpool High School on Dec.1 was requested by the principal to come to his office at 1:31 p.m. The officer was informed by the principal that an unnamed student had left the school without permission and returned and was giving the principal problems. The male student was also found to have two vapes on him. The student was suspended for leaving school property and having vapes on school property. The officer was told that the owner of Dresden Drive Thru was looking for information on a juvenile who had stolen two vapes. The officer reviewed pictures and identified the student as the same person. The owner said she wanted charges pressed and the officer sent the incident to the Columbiana County Juvenile Prosecutor for further action.
— Officers were dispatched on Dec. 1 at 10:13 a.m. to West 5th Street for a patient who walked out of the hospital.
— Officers responded to the Vista Motel on Dec. 1 at 9:36 p.m. for a report of a male hanging around possibly strung out on drugs. Officers arrived in the area but didn’t see anyone.
— Officers responded to the 100 block of Laurel Lane on Dec.1 at 10:38 p.m. after being notified by a caller saying they heard a lot of yelling and wanted officers to drive by check.
— Officers were dispatched to state Route 39 on Dec. 1 at 5:23 p.m. for a report of a female walking in the roadway. Officers made contact with the female who was off to the side of road and appeared to be hitchhiking. Officers gave her a courtesy transport.
— Officers responded to a domestic complaint in the 300 block of Blakely Street on Dec. 1 at 3:15 p.m. Officers spoke with the subject who said it was all verbal and everything was okay.
— Officers were dispatched to Railroad Street on Dec. 1 at 2:19 p.m. for a report of vehicles parking in the roadway. The officers were unable to make contact with the homeowner.
— Officers were dispatched to Heights Manor on Dec. 1 at 7:57 p.m. for a report of a marijuana smell. The officers detected a slight hint of marijuana but noted it was nothing overbearing and that it was not possible to find the source of smell.
— Officers went to a residence in the 400 block of Fisher Avenue on Dec. 1 at 7:58 p.m. to try to make contact with a female to do a follow up on her ex-husband’s violation of his protection order.
— An officer attempted to make contact with a male resident in the 200 block of Wilbert Avenue on Dec. 1 at 9:08 a.m. regarding the male’s juvenile son. No contact was made.
— Officers patrolling on Dec. 1 at 6:49 p.m. were looking for a male subject who robbed the Dresden Drive Thru. Officers were told the male was heading up Bradshaw toward Giant Eagle. Officers were unable to locate him.
— Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of Elmwood on Dec.1 at 4:50 a.m. for a report of a suspicious male. Officers located the male who had injuries and told them he had been in an altercation with three males. He refused to identify them. The male, who was identified as Mason Jones, was found to have an active warrant and transported to the hospital and then to the jail.
— Officers were dispatched on Dec. 2 at 8:23 p.m. to the area of Busy B Muffler on St. Clair Avenue for a report of two shirtless males fighting. Officers did not find anyone.
— An officer spoke by phone on Dec. 2 at 6:31 a.m. to a male reporting harassment. The officer advised the male on getting a protection order and said he would contact the person to have him stop.
— Officers conducted a traffic stop on Dresden Avenue on Dec.2 at 2:14 a.m. for a vehicle with no visible registration. Julie Clain, age and address not provided, was cited for no registration or insurance and the vehicle was towed.
— Officers were called on Dec. 2 at 8:23 p.m. for a report of a suspicious male on Armstrong Lane. The male was given a courtesy transport to Kountz Avenue where a Wellsville unit met them to take him to his family who live in Wellsville.
— Officers responded to a welfare check at the Vista Motel on Edwards Street on Dec. 2 at 7:59 a.m. and were informed the person moved from that location a month ago.
— Officers responded on Dec. 2 at 5:47 p.m. to a silent panic alarm at the Dresden Drive Thru. Officers while en route were told that the clerk called back and said she was robbed at gun point.
— Officers were dispatched on Dec. 2 at 9:54 p.m. to West 9th Street for a report of a reckless driver. Officers were unable to locate the driver.
— Officers responded to a crash scene on St. Clair Avenue on Dec. 2 at 5:59 a.m. Officers arrived to find a truck in the southbound lane with major front damage and note on the unoccupied vehicle saying someone would be back to tow it. A tow truck was called to remove it.
— Officers were on a traffic stop on Dresden Avenue on Dec.2 at 12:35 a.m. observed two juveniles walking down the sidewalk. After identifying the juveniles, they were transported to their parents’ house
— Officers were told of a hit-skip in the 100 block of West 6th Street on Dec. 2 at 6:27 p.m. They noted they could not get to it because of the Christmas parade. The caller said they had gotten the other person’s license plate and that officers didn’t have to respond.
