— An officer while sitting stationary checking speed on state Route 7 on Oct. 31 at 6:42 a.m. conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Patrick Neiswonger, age and address not provided, traveling at 73 mph in a 55 mph-zone. Neiswonger was issued a citation for speed and released with a court date.

— An officer sitting stationary on Parkway Avenue on Nov. 4 at 7:34 p.m. conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he observed failing to use a turn signal while turning. The vehicle also had only one operational brake light. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle during which the officer found half of a small white pill one of the passengers said was dilaudid which he had a prescription for. The officer also found a metal crack pipe which the driver, Nichael Beaver, age and address not provided, said was his. The passenger was told to bring a copy of the prescription to the station to avoid charges. First Class Towing towed the vehicle and Beaver was released from the police department with a traffic citation and a summons.

— An officer conducted a traffic stop on state Route 7 on Nov. 7 at 11:50 p.m. for a vehicle traveling 73 mph in a 55-mph zone. Dylan Sonntog, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for speed.

— An officer sitting stationary on Lisbon Street watching for traffic infractions in a school zone on Nov. 9 at 7:51 a.m. observed a vehicle traveling 50 mph in a 20-mph school zone. The officer tracked the vehicle with the driver never slowing down. When the officer pulled out to chase down the vehicle, the vehicle was still traveling at 50 mph in a 35-mph zone and passing a bus stopped for children. The officer drove for approximately one mile to catch and pull over the vehicle. The driver, Melissa Taylor, no age or address listed, was issued a citation with court date.

— An officer sitting stationary on Pennsylvania Avenue on Nov. 9 at 5:35 p.m. observed a vehicle which failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign and conducted a traffic stop. Treyven Johnson, the passenger, 23, address not provided, in the vehicle which had just left a known drug house who was observed bending down and putting something in his mouth was patted down for weapons due to previous arrests involving drugs and firearms. The officer found a pair of brass knuckles in Johnson back pocket and orange strips which Johnson said was suboxone which he does not have a prescription for. Officers also found a razor blade with white residue along with a metal card with white residue and two baggies with white residue. Johnson was taken into custody for drug paraphernalia. The driver was released from the scene with a warning to stop at stop signs.
