— Officers took a report at 7:02 p.m. on Thursday from a resident on East Main Street who reported that a woman was going through his mail.

— Officers arrested Justin Buskirk, no age or address given, on an outstanding warrant at West Martin Street at 4:31 p.m. Buskirk was also charged with violating a protection order.

— Officers responded at 4:30 p.m. Thursday to the intersection of Market and Main streets to a report of a juvenile being struck by a car. An investigation is ongoing.

— Officers arrested Sara Noling, no age or address provided, at 2:21 p.m.on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop on Malibu Drive. Beau Manley was also cited during the stop, charged with driving under suspension.

— An officer assisted a man who was walking on East Taggart Street and bleeding from the head at 12:27 p.m. on Thursday. The man advised it was just a scratch and did not need medical attention.

— Officers responded at 1:52 a.m. to a residence on West Martin Street after a woman reported hearing whispered threats through her air conditioning unit. Officers checked the home and a shed in the backyard but did not locate any subjects.

— Officers arrested Beau Figley, no age given, East Taggart Street, at 12:12 a.m. on Thursday. Figley was charged with handling firearms while intoxicated and obstructing official business. Officers responded to Figley’s residence after reports of gunshots. Officers made contact with Figley who allegedly claimed he had hit his vehicle with a hammer and then went into the backyard and fired two rounds at a tree. Figley advised he missed the tree and the bullets hit the ground. Figley’s backyard ends at the railroad tracks and he reportedly admitted a train had been passing through when he fired the shots.

— Officers arrested Brian Pearl, no age or address given, following a traffic stop at 7:09 p.m. on East Martin Street on Wednesday. Pearl was charged with obstructing official business, attempted tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana. Additional charges expected for suspected fentanyl. Pearl was allegedly asked to step out of the vehicle during the stop after officers detected the odor of marijuana. Pearl reportedly complied but began to resist after police found suspected fentanyl in his pocket. He then allegedly attempted to destroy the evidence and scuffled with officers.

— Officers responded at 4:03 p.m. to a business on East Taggart Street on Wednesday following a report of a bad check. The matter is under investigation.

— Officers responded at 1:55 p.m. on Wednesday to a theft complaint on Wood Street. The matter is under investigation.

— Officers took a report of a break-in at a residence on East Clark Street at 10:34 a..m. on Wednesday.
