East Palestine

— The East Palestine school resource officer reported that he handled an assault incident at the middle school involving two students at 3:16 p.m. on Friday.

— A female came to the station at 9:07 a.m. on Friday to discuss a custody dispute.

— Officers responded at 2:11 a.m. to East North Street on Friday to reports of flashlights in a neighboring garage. The caller reported the property is currently for sale. Officers found nothing suspicious at the scene. The property was secured and cleared.

— A motorist reported at 11:19 on Thursday that he struck and killed a deer on South Market Street and requested to take the deer for butchering. An officer provided the motorist with a deer-carcass receipt and assisted in getting the deer out of the roadway and loaded.

— Officers seized marijuana paraphernalia from a vehicle following a search after a traffic stop on Bacon Avenue at 8:31 p.m. on Thursday. The driver was issued a warning.

— Officers spoke to a resident on East Martin Street in regards to a neighbor dispute at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday.

— Officers responded to Brookdale Avenue to a report of an injured deer at 8:48 a.m. on Thursday. No animal was located at the scene.
