— Officers performed a welfare check at 3:34 p.m. at a residence on West Clark Street on Sunday.

— Officers took a report at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday from a resident on West North Avenue regarding suspicious activity around her home.

— Officers responded at 2:35 p.m. to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence in the West Main Street.

— Officers responded at 2:05 p.m. to a report of a domestic dispute on East North Avenue on Sunday.

— Officers responded at 5:28 a.m. to West Martin Street to a report of vehicles in front of her house on Sunday. Officers were unable to locate any vehicles.

— Officers responded at 4:36 p.m. to a report of juveniles in a carport on East Grant Street. No juveniles were located.

— Officers responded at 3:59 p.m. to East Clark Street to a report of a male acting strangely on Saturday. Officers located the subject and a family member who was advised she was talking the male to the hospital for evaluation.

— Officers took a report from a woman at 6:31 p.m. on Friday who advised she reported receiving harassing text messages from a person known to her. An officer read the messages and determined they were not threatening or harassing in nature.The woman was advised to block the number and to report any future messages.

— Officers conducted a welfare check at 3:28 p.m. on East Main Street on Friday. Officers made contact with the apartment owner and children at the residence.

— Officers responded to a private property crash in the parking lot of a business on North Market Street on Friday. No citations were issued.

— Officers assisted the East Palestine Fire Department with a medical emergency on East Clark Street at 11:40 p.m. on Thursday.

— Officers arrested Douglas Brayshaw, no age or address provided, at 5:21 p.m. on Thursday and charged him with obstructing official business on Thursday. Officers responded to screams from an apartment on East Main Street. Officers spoke to a woman at the residence who reported her adult son had thrown water on her. The subject then hid from officers and was later located behind a bedroom door.

— A woman reported at 4:41 p.m. on Thursday that signs had been stolen from the dog park on Park Drive.

— A man reported at 4:21 p.m. on Thursday that his estranged wife had gained access to his bank account and transferred all of his money to her account. He also reported that she had recently obtained an order of protection against him but has received more than 30 calls from her since.

— A woman on Young Street reported at 7:29 a.m. on Thursday that her juvenile son grabbed her by the arm and was making threats.

— Officers searched a vehicle following a traffic stop at 8:47 p.m. on Nov. 1 on Washington Street after detecting the odor or marijuana. A smoking bowl was located and seized. The occupants of the car were warned for possessing paraphernalia.

— Officers responded at 8:10 p.m. to a West Main Street residence after a woman called to report that the homeowner had shut the electric off and the home was cold. Officers spoke with the owner who said he was frustrated over a missing cell phone. Officers advised that the homeowner had the right to turn off the electricity in the home. The homeowner turned the electric back before officers left. Officers determined the homeowner and the caller were both intoxicated.

— Officers seized unopened alcoholic beverages and marijuana paraphernalia following a traffic stop at 8 p.m. on Nov. 1 on Easton Drive. The paraphernalia was in plain view and the alcohol found during a search of the vehicle. The driver was underage and issued a warning for the traffic violation.

— Officers responded at 6:42 pm. On Nov. 1 to the dog park on Park Drive to a report of an unattended dog in the park. Officers located the dog and transported it to the police department. The dog was chipped and the owner of the dog was contacted and retrieved the animal.

— Officers responded at 4:03 p.m. to South Street regarding a bad check complaint. A man advised he did work for someone unknown to him and was paid for services with a check that was later bounced. The matter is under investigation.
