— Officers spoke with a male on Sept. 29 at 12:49 p.m. who reported that this girlfriend won’t let him into their residence.
— Officers responded on Sept. 29 at 10:52 p.m. to Holliday Street for a report of a domestic situation. Officer arrived and spoke with a female who said her boyfriend was arguing with her and would not leave so she started yelling for someone to call the police, but she did not really need them. Officers told her they rushed there thinking it was an emergency and she should think before she does that again.
— An officer went to Market Streets Lofts on Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. in search of a male trespassed from the property, but had no contact with the male.
— A female caller on Sept. 29 at 3:25 p.m. reported that a male tried to open her car door and then took off to the side of her house. The female said the male tried to open her back door and then fled up into the woods. Officers checked the area but did not locate the male.
— Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Dresden Avenue on Sept. 30 at 7:36 p.m. for two males fighting. One of the males left before officers arrived.
— Officers were dispatched to Oakland Avenue on Sept. 30 at 4:33 a.m. for a possible theft. The caller reported two subjects stole the grill out of his backyard. Officers arrived and found the grill still in the backyard. It had not been taken.
— Officers were checking the area of East 9th Street for a fight on Sept. 30 at 10:11 p.m. when they heard a female screaming and some things being broken. Officers located where the noise was coming from and spoke to a female who said she was arguing with her mother over the phone.
— Officers responded to an argument between a male and a female in the 300 block of Grant Avenue on Sept. 30 at 8:53 p.m. Officers advised the couple they were sick of responding to their petty arguments and were going to start being charged.
— An officer spoke to a male who was upset with a personal matter on Sept.30 at 2:58 p.m.
— Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Market Street on Sept. 30 at 8:39 p.m. to speak with a female who reported being struck in the leg by a male with a lead pipe.
— Officers executed an arrest warrant on West 7th Street on Sept. 30 at 9:18 a.m. Officers arrested Logan Blake, 25, address not provided, for several outstanding warrants and transported him to Columbiana County Jail.
— Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Haywood Street on Sept. 30 at 7:42 p.m. for a report of someone trying to get into a residence. The officer said the mesh on her screen door had been ripped and she wanted officers to check around her home to make sure no one was there. Officers said they would keep extra watch on the residence.
— Officers on Sept 30 at 12:43 a.m. took a report for theft from a caller who said someone had broken into her storage unit and stole her TV.
— An officer responded on Sept. 30 at 12:22 a.m. to Mrs. C’s Pizza on Dresden Avenue for a report of a male entering the business claiming to be scared and needing a ride. The male, Michael Blair ,19, address not provided, asked officers for a ride when they arrived. The officers told Blair they would not give him a ride, but he would be charged with underage consumption since he was intoxicated. Blair was transported to the police department and a taxi was called to take him home.
— Officers responded on Sept. 30 at 10:49 p.m. to a residence in the 400 block of Putnam Street for a report of a male inside his parents’ house destroying the house. The officer told the parents he did not think this would constitute a domestic charge but would forward the report to the prosecutor for review. The male was transported to a friend’s house.
— Officers were dispatched on Sept. 30 at 5:34 p.m. to the 300 block of Moore Street for a female stating people were trying to attack her and use her as a guinea pig but she couldn’t sort through the voices to know how many people there were. The female told officers she wanted to go to the hospital. She was transported by East Liverpool Fire Department to the city hospital.
— Officers were dispatched to a residence on St. Clair Avenue for a report of harassment on Sept. 30 at 2:01 p.m. The caller reported a person known to them kept coming to their apartment and screaming through the door and making threats as well as slandering them on Facebook. The officer advised how to file for a protection order.
— Officers were dispatched on Sept. 30 at 8:27 p.m. to the 500 block of Wilbert Avenue for a juvenile shooting other juveniles with plastic BBs. Officers arrived and spoke to a female who said a boy was shooting other children with a Nerf gun. The officer spoke to the juvenile who said that one of the girls had slapped him in the face, so he shot her with the Nerf gun. All juveniles were advised to stay in their homes the rest of the evening and avoid each other.
— An officer was dispatched on Sept. 30 at 6:42 p.m. to the 700 block of Minerva Street for a complaint of someone racing a dirt bike down the road. The officer checked the area but did not find anyone on an off-road vehicle.
— Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Haywood Street on Oct. 1 at 12:04 p.m. for a 49-year-old male that was gray and cold to the touch. Officers arrived to find the male in his recliner not breathing and with no pulse. The male was transported to Nixon’s Funeral Home in Newell, West Virginia.
— Officers were dispatched on Oct.1 at 12:34 p.m. to the Ravine Street for a female walking a pit bull and yelling at a male. Officers checked the area but did not find anyone.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of West 4th Street on Oct. 1 at 2:01 p.m. for a dog abuse complaint. A caller reported that one of the dogs looked like it was hanging by its leash and they have not had food or water since early that morning. Officers observed the dogs who they said looked fine and had plenty of shade and looked like they were being taken care of.
— Officers were dispatched on Oct. 1 at 8:23 p.m. to the 300 block of Moore Street for a female who dumped gas on herself and was threatening to light herself on fire. Officers arrived to find the female holding the gas can with a small amount of gas, and the female did not appear to have any on her. The female said she bought the gas for her daughter who was coming to pick her up and did not intend to harm herself.
— An officer spoke to a female over the phone on Oct. 1 at 8:14 a.m. and suggested she come to the station. The female reported that she woke up to find her ex-boyfriend inside her home. The ex-boyfriend began yelling at her then punched and broke a TV. She later drove to the ex-boyfriend’s mother’s home in Canton to attempt to get money for the TV and observed the ex-boyfriend standing there with a brick in his hand and his brother with a firearm. The female and ex got into a verbal argument which escalated into her being put into a chokehold by the ex. The brother then fired the gun five to six times. Canton officers arrived. The female requested a protection order against the ex. The officer said a report would be done and forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.
— An officer responded to the area of McKinnon Avenue on Oct. 1 at 1:35 a.m. for a fireworks complaint. After patrolling the area, the officer found a small group of people in a backyard in the 900 block of McKinnon Avenue and asked if someone was letting off fireworks. A couple of the people admitted to letting off a few fireworks then stopped because a neighbor said something to them.
— Officers responded on Oct. 1 at 2:04 p.m. to Ambrose Avenue for a report of a group of juveniles attempting to break into a building. Officers located three juveniles which were all taken home and advised not to return to the building.
— Officers were dispatched to a residence on St. Clair Avenue on Oct. 1 at 12:40 a.m. for a female reported her boyfriend acting violent toward her the night before and she wanted him kicked out of the residence. After investigating the incident, officers discovered that the caller, Julie Underwood, 46, address not provided, had an outstanding warrant in Summit County and she was transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
— A female talked to officers on Oct.2 at 9:17 p.m. and told them that her ex-husband made threats toward her as she was walking down the street and she wanted a report on file. Officers found the ex and he said that the female came up to him and began causing issues. Both parties were advised to leave each other alone and how to get protection orders.
— Officers received a report on Oct. 2 at 1:54 p.m. of a male walking down Market Street with no shirt on and appearing dazed and confused. The area was checked, but officers did not find anything.
— Officers were requested in the East Liverpool City Hospital Emergency Department on Oct. 2 at 11:19 p.m. for a combative patient. The patient was in a seclusion room when officers arrived and staff informed them the patient was going to be transferred out to another facility and would notify the police if there was any problem. The officers were requested back to the hospital at 1:40 a.m. while the transfer took place.
— An officer spoke to a female in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Oct. 2 at 11:16 a.m. regarding her vehicle having a window busted out of it.
— An officer responded to the 300 block of Moore Street for a welfare check on Oct. 2 at 4:36 p.m. The daughter of the resident said she had not spoken to her mother since the night before and the last message she received from her mother said, “I am dead.” Officers checked the residence and were unable to make contact with the resident but found nothing out of the ordinary.
— An officer responded on Oct. 2 at 9:01 p.m. to a report of a fight in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Officers spoke with a female who said her husband and cousin were arguing, but the cousin had already left.
